Even if i don't like it but that was some great stuff by the raptors. Blowing out the clippers and warriors in b2b games on the road without kawhi...really impressive. Coach Brad would tip his hat to them. It's gonna be a hell of a ride. The east is higly competitive at the top.

I agree.

The Warriors will sweep their way to a ring if they want to this season. Either way they're winning it and the playoffs are boring.

But somehow due to Siakam's breakout and Green's 3 and D addition to the team the Raptors are looking better than any year of the LeBron Cavs.

Maybe it is because they also dumped the long mid range 2 guy of Derozen who was taking up so many shots in the offense and distributing them to their depth players who take 3s or dunks. Not sure why they're so much better this year.

Kind of makes me concern watching our players of Morris, Tatum, Irving take so many inefficient 2s.

Either way, Raps v GS in the Finals. GS will win in 5 but it'll actually force them to work hard. Good job Raps, hope Kawhi and Durant leave so the Finals is opened up for us next year.

Lol. Celtics over the Raptors in six.

The fact that people here are seriously giving up when the Celtics have won seven in a row and just beat Toronto a couple of weeks ago is beyond pathetic.

Y'all are seriously so weak.

Honestly it's nothing other than pure stupidity with what the Raptors have done all year with or without Kawhi to not have them as the East favorite at the moment.

I'd still say GS sweeps them if they care to do so, but at the moment I can't really say any other team is favorites over them in a series.

I have no idea how they're winning almost all of their games no matter who is in or out of the lineup.

I know Siakam is an MIP contender ala Oladipo of previous years but it feels like it has to be much more than just that.

I could see playing at C leading to Ibaka's best season kind of similar to the resurgence an old hurt KG found doing the same exact move.

Val is one of the most impactful big men that is doing assaults in 20mpg or less.

It's just astounding. They're a well oiled machine with endless depth and are the equivalent of a regular season Imperial death march. Rolling through the #4 and #2 teams in the West with ease on a back to back on the road without their MVP player in Kawhi because frankly nothing stops that train.

They'll still end up facing a 2 MVP team in Curry and Durant and lose because it's the NBA and MVPs win, but there's nothing you can say against them at the moment.

Hopefully come playoffs if we're facing it'll likely be without homecourt they'll at least be not at full strength. Or we'll provide an interesting matchup issue for them ala we did for a pre Butler 76ers team. We can still beat them sure, but they have to be favored at this point.

east playoffs are so far away. deals can happen as well as buyout pick ups - not to mention injuries. kyrie has a history of playoff injuries. kyle has a history of late season breakdowns.

and...i think alot is going to come down to matchups/seedings/home court. imho, bos, tor or mil can come out of the east. (favorites being bos/tor). phi is a slight tier below until they add some players.

the good news from toronto perspective is that we are still not 100% in sync w/ kawhi and we are missing alot of wide open 3's.

Celtics arent close to being full strength yet. Horford is not 100%, Hayward is not himself yet, Jaylen is just starting to get into a groove. If they can truly get to full strength they will a tough matchup for anyone, including the warriors.

If we use last year as a guide. No team is going to be at full strength for the playoffs. Resiliency in the face of injuries is in of itself a necessity. Plus to be honest roles get better defined when we take a few players out of the mix.

Its like no one has ever seen this play before. The raps look great and then they collapse. I’m not scared of them after we get up to fully speed with a full lineup.

Might as well rebrand that franchise and call them the Toronto Snowmen. We all know what happens to a snowman when spring time rolls around.

How the hell you going to compare this year's Raptors to the ones in the past? Good lord that is idiotic. New coach, an actual superstar, top-6 player in the NBA. Man oh man you guys are going to be backpedaling on a lottttt of these comments about Toronto come May.

Should be great. Everyone knows Celtics haven't reached their final form. I honestly have no idea who the hell is coming out of the East. The semi finals are going to be a blood bath and I would not be surprised if every series goes to 6-7 games in the semis and ECF

That franchise is clown show, Forman and Paxson run the worst front office in the league. Certainly makes you appreciate how Wyc, Danny and Brad are all on the same page.

Why isn't there more Ron Baker talk?

This is huge.

So typical of the Knicks. They bid against themselves for Allan Houston, which was so bad the NBA had to bring in a pretend rule to help the Knicks and they named it after that bad contract. Baker arrives for little money and stylish hair from the 1970s, and then the Knicks decide they have to give him big money compared to his minimum money in his first season, and then the Knicks pay him not to dress up in the uniform now.

Even if the Knicks add Kemba and Kevin, they will still be dysfunctional and crazy.

Two of Baker's best NBA games were against the Warriors.

An underrated Golden State-stopper?

Detroit trading for Fultz.

Caldaron and Ish for Markelle, who says no?

Leuer for Fultz?

Maybe they found out he was the one behind the mutiny last week, or at the very least, was the guy leaking info to the media, and now is being punished for it.

Count me unimpressed until they show something in the playoffs- they got Kahwaii now, but this team is full of perennial chokers. Role players and depth don't count for as much during the playoffs
