NO TO PAU GASOL. He is washed.

Besides, I think that guy is probably going to Toronto to hang out with Marc anyways.

Or an LA return maybe.

Meh, no buyout player is going to help this team.

Boy, the ring whores are flocking to....any team but Boston.

Come on Bulls, Buyout Lopez.
Lopez, sign with Celtics on 1+1.

We have no playing time to offer, that's why.

Monroe came here since he'd play (or at least we thought he would).

Apparently they refused his request for a buyout.

They still have until Midnight, EST.

We didn't have to prorate that injury exception either. He got a nice pay day. 5 million for a couple of months, which is more than double what he is making this year.

It's called common sense.

That's pretty crazy that he'd want out of San Antonio, a team that looks likely to make the playoffs. I don't recall that happening a lot where a playoff team is interested in buying out a player. Pau is super washed now, but maybe he could play 5 minutes in a playoff game and make some nice passes or something. Let the Jakob Poeltl era begin.

Really weak overall buyout market this year, I can't name one bought-out player who I would want on the court in a playoff game for the Celtics.

Want on the court instead of whom? Theis? Wanamaker?

None of these buyout candidates want to fight with Gordon Hayward for minutes, so no one is signing here anyway.

It's not Davis Bertans from the Spurs. It's his brother Dairis, who is coming over from Europe.

The playoff eligibility deadline was last night at midnight. My "hot take" is now a fact.
