I don't get with the whole BLM thing why no one suggests simply start using cameras to catch people speeding. That would cut down on a ton of traffic stops and thus cut down on a lot of police interactions. Seems like it would be something everyone could agree to. No one like getting pulled over and it must be dangerous for the police too.

I imagine the police would likely be against it since they'd lose a lot of OT hours which would make it hard to pass. We'd also have to change all our speed limits to actually be accurate as well instead of just accepting 5-10 over and leaving it up to police to decide who they want to pull over. It'd be a change for the better, but there's definitely some difficulties to it. I know in England they have a system that takes a picture when you get on and off the highway and checks if you were too fast or not then just mail you a ticket.

Demanding that every NBA arena be used as voting centers seems significant. Not to mention having NBA ads encouraging people to vote. Well done, NBPA. That's certainly one way to use your leverage and platform. They can still do more. Build that momentum. Now is the time to keep pushing for social reform.
