Drop coverage is definitely an issue, has to be by design. Can't have the bigs waiting at the free throw line when Clarkson or Mitchell are coming off a screen.

Ainge needs to get a forward. Semi and Grant are trash. Period.

I'll give Grant the Benefit of the doubt, in his 2nd year.

Don't give him any benefit. Once in awhile he'll have a good game and Hit a few games but most games he's absolutely terrible.

Grant switchers off pretty well.
He just needs to make more heads up plays.

I wish I had the time or the patience to compile a list of the complaints in game threads. It's staggering, everything seems to be wrong for this crowd. The fact that we are basically tied at halftime with the best team in basketball right now is secondary to any complaint.

Unfortunately you're right. Celtic shot 60% and 13 for 16 that quarter and are only up 1. What's going to happen when Mitchell starts scoring? Celtics are already coming back down to earth last I only scored two points in 3 minutes.

There have been many worse Celtic teams, but this may be the most frustrating. Can’t pass. Dumb plays galore. Bad shots. Perimeter defense sucks.

Grant, Semi, Teague, Edwards, Green, Waters, Fall. 7 of our 17 players should not even be in the NBA. G-league sure, but not the big league. Completely Ainge's failure, not Brad's fault. And if I hear Ainge say one more time that he "likes his team", we need to bring back Tree Rollins to bite him again to wake him up, because he is asleep at the wheel

If we get a real starting 4, leave Smart on the bench where he belongs and that problem is sorted. Maybe Romeo remembers he's on the team soon enough to take over the back up 2 spot.

BTW this season is a year where you basically don't get to practice. So your just trying to rely on good smart players. It helps veteran teams and high IQ teams. Look at our roster, we're not that

Celtics don’t play as a team. They rely on the tough shot making of Kemba, Jaylen and Jayson.

May be close but it's only a matter of time before it comes apart with this offense.

Brad's responsible for this mess, can't pin that on Ainge.

In my opinion it’s the players. Kemba, Tatum and Brown are not passers. They are put your head down and go at them. Jayson and Jaylen are learning to be complete players. Tatum a little ahead of Brown in that area but both are growing. Their first instinct is not to read the defense and make the right play but they are getting there.

Kemba always was a shoot first player and always will be going forward. Kemba is a 6 foot shooting guard.

Celtics really miss Hayward who is a playmaker

He’s going up against arguably the best one-two punch screener combo in the league in Gobert and Favors... I’ll cut him some slack
