Good as long as it's for minimum?

Doubt it's the minimum. I think I saw on twitter he'd be passing up on good money to join the NBA.

Got our big prospect in Williams
Potentially got our third string backup PG
I think we might just see us turn to Smart and Baynes and call it a day..

Indiana needs more scoring, their defense is already very solid and Oladipo was First Team All-Defense this past year in the backcourt.

Doubt it. Dude is an experienced pro. Heavy preseason minutes (tho preseason is so short 'heavy' might be an overstatement).

One less team to offer big money to Smart.

Would hate to see this guy go, but I wouldn't discredit him for taking an additional dollar elsewhere. Especially what's going on with his mother and the expenses incurred.
I love his fight on court and his community involvement with the charity work for city of Boston is awesome.
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
If Marcus learned to shoot he would be a max player imo.
i cannot recall anyone since Rodman who could have such a massive impact on a game while shooting so poorly

Checking the cap tracker.
http://www.spotrac.com/nba/cap/2018/
The right column, cap space and practical cap space, not alot of team that has cap room or could open up large enough cap room for free agents. Only threats are Mavs, Sixers IMO. Dallas cause they're desperate, but their need is more for bigs than guards, especially after getting doncic.
Sixers IMO will try to re-sign Redick using their non bird rights, 20% for one year and get early bird rights next year, they won't get LeBron.
Other teams have ranging from 13 million down to 8 million in potential cap room, none of which I see as serious threats to get Smart. Outside chance Bulls with up to 39 million but why get Smart When they have Dunn, LaVine, Holiday ...could possibly retain him with the QO.
