Sacramento being good this year really killed a lot of our scenarios: Davis trade, moving up today...

I didn't put anything past teh Lakers. They've lucked into some BS and haven't really proven to be a great FO lately.

the lottery screwed us. Lakers getting 4, us getting 14 and NO getting 1 all played into. With Zion the need to get the best player in the deal wasn't really there anymore. NO got their go to guy and Tatum was no longer needed to build around.

A strategy of relying on other teams to stink forever is eventually going to bite you in the butt.

I sure hope learns from this and trades the MEM pick while it is still relatively unknown where it will land.
