I would offer Hayward for Wiggins and 2 if ainge tihnks Wiseman is good, I would add 26 and 30 if need be. I would also do Smart +14 for 2 and then package 26 30 and 47 to move up and get a PG in the late teens.

I think this is our last chance for a long time to add young all star level talent.

What about getting the #1 and the #2 pick?

kemba Hayward Smart Thies is too much to get one and 2 you are left with no team around Brown and Tatum outside of 2 rookies. 1 high pick to intergrate into the young but vetran mix. I would trade 1 of Smart, Kemba or GH not all 3, and not Thies unless we are getting back a really good vetran big man, even then he is a really nice sub. So this is overdoing it a bit.

I have the opposite reaction. That's a team, pending a very very good defensive vet Center to which there are a million of them that could win a championship.

And that's assuming Brown doesn't get any better than he is right now as a player. But that's a true championship contender level of talent. And in the era of 2 studs win rings (it's looking like that will remain true for at least next year) pitting Harden & Tatum vs 36 year old LeBron and Davis or George and Kawhi or Greek Freak and nothing or Butler and Bam.... that's not a bad move.

Specifically because again I think Smart and Brown (assuming you can get the ball out of Smart's hands) are perhaps the best 3 and D wing/guards in the ENTIRE NBA. Like Brown doesn't even have to improve and he could a 25 ppg on that team on 9 open 3PA/g for a career 37% 3 point shooter.

As with my other trade proposals, I dunno why the other teams would do it. Rockets get off Westbrook contract and replace with more efficient secondary ballhandler. Pistons pair Blake with Russ just because they can.

My Hou- Bos trade scenerio

BOS out: Kemba, Hayward, our 3 first rounders, maybe 2 of our own future firsts doesn't matter they're all crap end of the first round picks

HOU out: Westbrook and Harden

Why does Hou do it : they traded 2 first round picks and two pick swaps to get Westbrook. They're empty in the first-rounders situation. With Gordon they get out of Westbrook's contract and try to lure a big name free agent or get back into the game in 2021

Why does BOS do it: To win a championship next season. The 14th pick in an extremely weak draft is our best pick "asset" traded. We'll be a 60+ win team every year for the foreseeable Smart,Harden,Brown,Tatum future guaranteed.

I hesistate to name any of our bench beyond this top 6 because in a 2020 free agency with no money, that's a team that all the best of vet free agents will clamor to sign on to for a one year Finals run.

Like this is the EXACT type of team Serge Ibaka would look at and say him MLE and starting Center on a championship team while waiting to get to 2021 when everyone has money? Okay sounds too good to pass up and suddenly he's our starting Center. Once you get to this level of talent the surrounding pieces come for free due to ring hungry vets (like Shaq, Sheed, Jermaine O'Neal, Posey of the olden days, ect.)

Westbrook because our super 6th man off the bench to run rampant. Smart/Brown/Tatum are the best 3 and D players in the league around an MVP level Harden.
