That 2027 pick swap and that 2023 first round pick playing pretty well right now.

The better question is, who will we trade our 2024 1st round pick for?

Brad's first move upon getting the job was dealing our 2021 1st rounder for Al. Then at the deadline he traded our 2022 1st rounder for White. Then as soon as it was a new NBA calendar year and he was able to do so, he traded our 2023 1st rounder for Brogdon.

I'm sure Brad is already planning and plotting on which good veteran player he can scoop up with our 2024 1st round pick. Bet he'll make the move as soon as the rules allow him to haha.

One of the best Brad pics in existence. Very meme-able.

The depth of shooting/playmaking we have is unreal. Look at some of these scrub ass offensive players other teams are forced to play lol

Perfect pic for when he's awarded this season's EotY, and at the closing game of the finals when the banner for #18 drops from the ceiling.

Even before this trade deadline I think Brad Stevens had a strong argument for executive of the year...

If and when Mike Muscala pans out I think he should be a near lock..

Even more so considering the coaching drama our previous coach put him under..

Brad Stevens has built an incredible roster and he didn't have a plethora of draft picks to do it..

Between Horford, Gallo (I know he won't play but it's still relevant that Stevens went after him for roster building purposes) and Muscala the Celtics have three of the five best pick and pop bigs in the NBA. That can't be a coincidence.

The Bucks are the biggest threat in the East and the best way to beat their drop coverage is to have a guy that can pop effectively. People were clamoring for extra defensive help to guard Giannis even at the cost of completely clogging up the offense (Howard, Cousins...) well Stevens went the other way and said let them worry about guarding us. I like his approach better.

The beauty of his strategy is that it's not entirely Bucks specific either. It should work very well against Embiid and his lazy closeouts, against Miami to force Adebayo out of the paint and leave them with zero rim protection, against Cleveland to pull one of their two bigs out of the lane...

Team is set up real, real well to go all in this off-season if they feel commitment from their stars.

Once the 2023 draft happens, we can trade 24/26/28/30 1st rounders and swaps in between (though the 28 pick is after SA swap rights of course). That’s a full slate of picks.

And on the salary side, we have a ton of expendable but useful players on expiring deals to make that work: Gallo, Pritchard, Muscala, Kornet. We can take up to about $21M in salary for those guys.

If we find common ground with Grant, the whole top 8 would be returning as well. So we’re talking about being able to go for another Brogdon type addition or maybe even a bit better if we go with multiple picks instead of 1.

Or we can break things up and go for multiple guys. The combination of expiring salary and unrestricted access to multiple picks is going to give us a ton of options this off-season.
