They didn't "walk all over" a mediocre Hawks team, aren't currently "walking all over" a Sixers team with Embiid on one leg. What gives you the confidence that they'll do it to the Heat? Arguably the best coached team in the Playoffs with a current top 3 performer in the Playoffs. If the C's get past the Sixers, they'll be in a dog fight again with Miami.

I don’t wanna hear about coaching but player execution. Miami’s players just execute. Coaching can’t teach that no matter if you put them in position.

Miami's top 7 players..

Jimmy Butler, Bam, Kevin love, Max Strus, Gabe Vincent, Kyle lowery, Caleb Martin..

Boston's top 7

Jayson, Jalen, Horford, Smart. D white, R Williams, Brogdon..

So sick of hearing that coaching does not matter..

If they ask the 30 head coaches in the NBA which roster would they rather coach it wouldn't be close it would be 30 out of 30

Tatum has a solid mid range game.. But whether it's his trainer or the head coach no one is encouraging him to use it..

I remember he was the mid range crusader early in his career. Now he barely takes them.

So sick of of people blaming the coach last night. More like if we had guys that can close and you know maybe get a defensive rebound.

Yeah Kevin love, Max struss, Gabe Vincent ,Kyle lowery are all better rebounders right??
Perhaps if we had a coach who would actually call a time out and run a Good play we would be better at closing..

Well how about a coach that would insist we stop walking up the ball in the 4th quarter?

Well how about a coach who would tell Tatum to stop doing step sideways threes early in the shot clock on a fast break??

Again how many offensive rebounds did Philly in those last minutes? Also how about making some shots in crunch time? Sorry pal that’s not on the coach.

How about having the balls to put in your best shooters in crunch time to make a big shot.. Brogdon

How about doing an offensive substitution for a defensive player in those crunked times moments..

How about calling a time out To run a play to get a higher percentage shot..

Dude if you don't think coaching matters Then you're either trolling me or you are clueless..

Nobody said Mazzulla is a better coach than Spoelstra?

You say players win games.. Are you aware Miami has 7 undrafted players while we have lottery picks all over the place?

Here is a serious question if you can believe it..

If Boston substituted Coach Joe In the last 3 minutes of every game, for a bubble gum chewing mannequin..

Would anyone notice the difference?? :dontknow:

I didn't say anything. Haven't posted in this thread in awhile lol.

That's good for Miami. Again, no one said Mazzulla is a better coach than Spoelstra.

The heat just took care of business getting a 3-1 lead. It pays having great coach and top dog in butler.
Spo can design a play with less than a second remaining, and his top dog butler, can execute it and will it to go in forcing overtime, while our coach bubble gum won’t even call one, and our top dog JT, can’t even get a shot off. Big diff right there.

If you make a poll of over a thousand guys in the nba, players, coaches, staff etc, on who is a better coach between spo and Joe, it would be 1000 - 0 for Spo. It’s just laughable.

edit. And the ones choosing Joe, would be dead hard celtics fanboys lol.

Even if no one directly said Joe was better than Spo, The implication that is actually Only a marginal difference in coaching Is beyond crazy to me..

You literally have one of the best coaches on 1 side versus possibly 1 of the worst coaches..

Darvin Ham just got a steal off Draymond. Joe could never.

Guys saying that coaching doesn’t matter are dumb, stupid and clueless. Even rotating guys inside have definite impact on the game. Yes, players have to execute, but clearly our guys inside have no clue what they are doing in those last seconds of ot. Smart walking the ball slowly crossing half court like it was some regular season game and not on dying seconds, any coach would have been livid. Joe chose to be a spectator on that monent. Now i’m convinced he doesn’t have plays in his bag for that.

They don’t even look a quarter of that team we played against in the finals.

I don’t know for whatever reason something against playing Lebron that always have role players shook in the playoffs.

The answer in no. Our guys got spooked by the warriors, and they knew it. Once they knew, their confidence got better, and theur offense took off. It showed how they clowned us. Curry taking half court shots. Clowning us with that sleeping sign, even if the game isn’t over, are signs of over confidence. We knew they had us, and there is nothing they could do about it. The lakers ain’t spooked.

And? Which is embarrassing. Your argument stinks dude because this core has failed before with different coaches. Coaching can only get you far but players have to execute .
