Good thread showing exactly how we go to water late in games.

We constantly get left taking less than ideal shots because we walk into sets and don’t get the actions started until 14 or less on the shot clock.

It’s either poor coaching or a bunch of players making really poor decisions late.

We had a different coach in 2022.

So it's the players.

I agree.

It’s just funny seeing Mazzulla blamed for anything that goes wrong.

People put far too much stock in coaching. At the end of the day the players are the ones reacting on the fly out there and executing.

Who could forget us stopping playing in game 7 of the 2022 ECF and Miami ending up a Jimmy Butler miss from the finals?

Was the exact same stupid slow offence back then and that was with Ime.

the offense needs to keep going full boar but my gosh, had horford hit some of the bazillion looks the offense created it could have stemmed the tide. we needed 2 more at least as bad as air, especially since a lot of the flub was with him involved. jays couldn't hit their shots, we need them to, but al could have tap danced, cartwheeled, and more on his looks.

Hitting shots is part of it yes but when you’re struggling hitting long shots it’s time to attack the paint.

don't forget what happened after Tatum dunked on LeBron in game 7 of the ECF and then hit a 3 to give BOS a 72-71 lead with 6 minutes left. Almost nothing. Celtics scored 2 more points before the last 30 seconds, when the game was no longer in doubt, and the Cavs won 87-79. Now, my Internet GumShoes, who and/or what caused the Celtics to score 2 points in 5.5 minutes of 4th quarter gametime with a trip to the Finals on the line?
