If the Cs beat Denver, the same people will say it's because Murray is obviously hurt.

Maybe, but Jokic is the MVP, Murray is not even an All-Star.

I'm fine with beating either team.

Dethroning the champs will be sweeter though.

I don't care. I just want them to win and the repeat.

Trust me, this is the last time the Cs championship will be in question.

If the Cs win this year, it will be a 3-peat.

I have the Cs chances of winning it all higher next year.

There's no stopping the Cs next season until maybe 2026 and beyond.

Mate he’ll be playing game 1

I have not seen any report saying KP will play Game 1.

Theirs no report saying he’s back for game 4 either. He was questionable for game 4 against the Cavs.

Yeah, but those guys from CLNS are credible.

They're reporters who have direct access to Celtic players and coaches.

Injuries even aside, that claim is hard to agree with.

-- Murray IS hurting, and Denver could improve its bench.
-- Edwards is still improving.
-- Philly will try for a big roster upgrade this summer.

Yeah, but JT getting a year older and getting closer to having a fully developed NBA body trumps all other things that happens to other teams.

Right now JT is more puppy than adult dawg.

As long as the Cs have the Jays, KP, and White, Cs will always be in the hunt.

Right now Ant has something that JT doesn't, an NBA body.

It's true that JT is still a little soft.

That will be fixed after 1 or 2 years.

JT has an NBA body. He's just soft and tries to be Kobe, and he's not. Ant doesn't try to be MJ, he just ressembles MJ, cause of his body type/athelticism and atittude.
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

Look at JT's picture on draft night and look at Ant's picture on draft night.

JT did a lot of bulking up since 2017.

Ant already had a grown man's body when he was a rookie.

Unlike Ant and JB, when JT makes contact with the defender, going up for a shot, JT gets off balanced.

That's what's holding him back.

But that problem will be solved by adding a little more weight in the sunmer.

When JT started his NBA career, he was a SF.

Right now JT is transitioning into a PF.

Just give it 1 or 2 more years and we'll see the finished product.

But that isn’t how biomechanics work. You can’t just add weight, bulk, then magically expect benefits to coordination and balance. Tatum also has a noticeably narrow base, which at 27.. is not going widen. That’s not an end all, be all detriment but it does play a factor.

Performance wise, for a more or less endurance athlete already at 27 it’s also just going to be extremely difficult to get significant jumps in body mass like we did over the last couple years where growth hormones have likely already peaked.

TLDR, body wise this is probably at least very close to what Tatum is a a finished product and repping out curls, rows and deadlifts won’t solve the core issues in Tatum taking contact, which is largely do to his motor functions (coordination) and his narrow waist.

I think it was with Moses Brown people were saying “oh, he’s 255-260 lbs.. he won’t get moved off his spot.” Whelp. He may indeed be that heavy but with how narrow he is, a toddler could probably move him. He also just sucks.

That absolute belt to ass dismantling the Nuggets got might be an absolute shot in the foot by Minny.

Denver will come into game 7 with revenge and anger in mind. I bet they beat the brakes off those young bloods.

He's still 26.

I'm not talking about significant weight gain.

Just around 5 to 7 pounds.

It's also not about adding weight magically helps his coordination.

Getting a little bigger and stronger will help him absorb the contact and not get off balanced every time he's bumped.

I think 5 to 7 pounds is still within his base.

That's the most likely outcome.

But who knows, Minny might surprise us.

A close game that will be decided in the last 30 seconds will be very exciting.

If Murray really is hobbled and going to play like this then I fancy our chances more matched up with them. Hopefully even if they advance they go through a war against Mavs too.

Read on Twitter

Ironically, they could probably use some old on that inexperienced roster right about now.

Losing to either of these teams would be disgraceful
