I feel that way too. This team on the whole, is a mess. Wonder what the hell they were doing during training camp. cant shoot or can't stop anyone these days.

We have the best defense in the league.

Just cant get timely stops anymore
Oladipo, Murray torched us and Booker was killing it as well. And now this half its Ingles turn

But it's pretty crazy what we have seen out of Murray, Booker and now Ingles during this damn trip. People are punching wayyy above their weight against us.

This is becoming a disturbing recurring trend for the team, letting someone out of the box to explode in ways he normally wouldn't

He's just taking better shots. Shoot 3s, attack the rim, go to the post and ask for the ball. That shouldn't change no matter who is around him.

I agree it shouldn't change who is around him. All I'm saying is Stevens should make sure Tatum gets the touches and shots every game. Make sure he doesn't go 5-6 possessions in a row without touching the ball, then maybe he won't feel the need to go iso the one time he actually touches it. Tonight he is much more involved in the offense and playing much better in it.

I stayed in for this bull***t.

This is Gordon's night he's getting his ass booed and this team can't take some pride and get his back. At least play some D.

Is it just me or do the Celtics players look like they have no system out there? Everyone looks like they are just doing whatever they feel like on the court.

Honestly, the Jazz move the ball and make a lot of good decisions. I'm on a winter rec team and a few times I caught myself thinking, "I wish we could play like that." I'm more the dirty rebounder hustle guy so far so no great shakes off my stats, but every team has a few guys that take shots and you just shake your head and run back down the court to play defense. It's way worse if the guy taking the questionable shot doesn't d up.

I agree re Rozier slowing things down . He makes a great steal but then turns it over because he never gets full possession of the ball. Or like last night when he tries to push the ball too fast and turns it over . Plus he can’t hit crap right now

Seven seconds left and the best shot they could get was Morris shooting while double teamed....I also just noticed that Smart is leading the team in three point attempts. Four more years of Smart chucking, they better hurry up licensing the local medicinal shops. :nonono:

Yeah noticed a couple times we didn't get into any kind of set until the shot clock was at 10 seconds, just one guy dribbling as everyone looked to Brad for guidance.

I mean, he rarely touches the ball on offense after the initial pass. There were about 3-4 plays that he was wide open on 3 that the players completely missed him. He went over 12 minutes without taking a shot...hard to be productive if he isn’t strong shots.

I think the team will be fine, but did I forget everything I ever knew about sports, or does Smart routinely get scapegoated here over 7-8 more underperforming rotation players?

I feel like I live on a different planet sometimes, lol.

I don't think that happens a lot. He's just been making bad decisions. It's a learning process for him, he has to do a better job of staying patient and making the right play everytime. When you acummulate talent there's always gonna be less touches and shots for everybody. Just have to make sure that we do a better job of getting easy looks for everyone.
