I'm actively rooting for that to happen and roll the dice on the 2021 pick. Progress of these young teams is rarely linear. Maybe they do something stupid like SAC and fire their coach, or have injuries, or bring in more guys that look great on paper but don't fit, who knows? The chance at an unprotected pick is worth it. Even if it is 20, spreading it to a year we don't have an extra pick already, and adding an extra year in the future of rookie salary is worth it. The risk we end up a few slots lower is fine by me.
