I made a General Thread for PG's, going into the Season.
Check it out, if you get a chance.

Yam working with Tony Parker? Okay, so far I only see tennis playing on IG but... Yam is gonna be as good, it's set in stone now! Y'all now it only takes something small for me to go overboard on potential! I'm always ready to put on green tinted glasses with green tinged hope!

haha it is pretty funny that there's photos/videos on Madar's instagram of him playing tennis (but not basketball) with Tony Parker
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

I always used tennis as crosstraining for basketball.
The side to side movement is great for b-ball defense.

Good point, it's def good for short/quick bursts, lateral quickness and agility. I assume they did some type of basketball workout together too..

Hopefully. Someone was arguing about Parker and Yam earlier IIRC. If he's half of TP at his best, that is a good bench player and a hit for where we got him.

Doesn't sound like a guaranteed roster spot to me.

No 2nd round pick who has yet to play in the NBA ever has a guaranteed roster spot. That's what summer league and training camp is for - for Madar (and any other 2nd round pick who has yet to play in the NBA) to try and earn a roster spot..

Just makes me sad to read quotes, about anything, from Austin Ainge. Dude didn’t get the memo?

You have to like the confidence and swagger. Obviously it's not his choice. It's not up to him whether he plays for the Celtics or not this season. He has to actually make the team - Udoka has to decide to include him on the roster. But Madar believes in himself and he is approaching this like he is going to make the team. In sales you call that "assume the sale"..
