That's BS.

Since taking over (less than 2 yrs ago) he turned:
Kemba walker
Enes Freedom
Moses Brown
Josh Richardson
Bruno Fernando
Juwon Morgan
Nik Stauskus
Aaron Nesmith
Daniel Theis
Justin Jackson
Romeo Langford
Dennis Schroder
Malik Fitts
Kris Dunn
Tristan Thompson
Some draft picks

Into:
Al Horford
Malcolm Brogdon
Derrick White
Mike Muscala

In case you're counting, that's 3 of the top 100 players in the NBA he added to the team. While giving up basically nothing lol. We're considered by most people to be the deepest team in the league.

Also, added Blake Griffin and Danilo Gallinari for nothing. Not Brad's fault Gallo tore his ACL.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Jesus lol.

As much as I was annoyed, I’m also realizing it was kind of flukey. Harden hasn’t scored 40 points in over two years, I believe.

It was the major thing I underestimated, Harden's ability to still do that.

What happened to the guy that went 0-10 in a game 7 a few years back??

Maybe we should send our entire squad to Vegas to slap a few people around too?

Just hilarious.

Blame multiple coaches over the years who give Smart free rein like he’s Steph Fkn Curry.

Nah.

Blame it on a passive "superstar" who tells you he wants to be the man but is too weak to demand the ball in crunch time.

If Tatum was a true superstar, he would not have needed to demand the ball in crunch time.
If he was a true superstar, we would have won this game by 15 or more in a game 1, at home and Sixers without Embiid.

Superstar has been thrown around a lot the past 10-15 years, with only a few players deserving of that title.
Tatum is a top 5-7 player in the league. I'm good with that. The Celtics are lucky to have him. He is who he is and he
isn't great in crunch time, isn't a great leader and doesn't make his teammates better. Those are all qualities of a superstar,
somehow the NBA forgot that. He does everything else at a high level.
It's up to the Celtics owners and Brad to realize this and get him a guy that excels at
things I mentioned.

Brown is the same in that he isn't great in crunch time, isn't a great leader and doesn't make his teammates better. But he excels in a lot of other areas. That's the main issue with the Celtics. They handed the keys to the franchise hoping one of them would turn into that guy and neither one is that dude.

It’s my fault, I don’t make other posters better. Even though statistically I’ve made every other poster on the board with me infinitely better over the last however many years.

You're soft and always hide from the moment, I don't care about stats I trust my eyes. Larry Bird would have won every single thread he was in.

Thoughts on Robert Williams III so far? And what do you guys expect his role to be next season? Expanded again?

He's been ok. Some good moments. He's clearly not at 100% and is trying to not go too hard out there, to avoid getting hurt again.

Hope we will see him get back to 100%. I somewhat fear he might not get there. Healthy Williams is insane.

Healthy Williams could be damn near a one man band defensively for us but man he looks bad physically at times. No where near even last year’s finals run.

I fear that Rob will never be 100%, or even 90%.

We HAVE to address the front court.

No PF and no Center now, essentially.

Horford is a backup at this point, elite, but a backup

Grant has regressed from being a 5th big
Muscala is deep depth
Kornet is deep depth
Gallo is good but hurt
Timelord is never healthy/

I was at game 3 in Atlanta. It had been 2+ years since I saw Rob live.

I was absolutely staggered by how much slower and ineffective he was. It was a pretty bad game for him, but whether its health or something else, I'm not optimistic at all that we see that player again.

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed not getting a rotation big at the deadline. Long term, I don’t know what we do with Al and Rob. They’re our only two real playable bigs and there leaves a lot to be desired between age and health.

We have, at absolute most, one more year with Al where’s he’s probably best served as a reserve and how knows with Rob.
