They almost blew it again! Not attacking, stupid fouls. Lucky Duncan didn’t make us pay with 2 wide open misses.
I Expect Celtics to blow miami out game 7 after they got this almost chokejob out of the way.

They really went to Smart with a fall away 3, down by 1 with the season on the line.
Not the Cs' intended play.
The Heat blew up the intended play, at the cost of being weak on the offensive glass.
Yep, they took away the first two options on the inbound pass (Tatum & Brown). Freed up White for the run towards the rim.
We're obviously not giving the coach or smart credit for this play.
In fact, only White and Tatum crashed the board while Brown sat like a spectator.
Obviously Miami is taking away Tatum and Brown in this spot, sorry not sorry but the play we ended up with was a disaster. Just like the entire last 4 minutes.
I just thank god that White is the high IQ basketball player Smart thinks he is.

You know I know that right? You know that the Celtics play is the play that Miami wanted them to take right?
It's the Celtics coaching and players job NOT to fall into it.
It would nice for once for people around here to be objective. Miami wasn't weak on the offensive glass. They just had a bunch of low IQ guys watching the play instead of participating in the play.

Smart was the only guy on the court (DWhite inbounded) who hit a 3 all game. The other 3 starters were ‘0-for’ from 3 for the game. It was too tough a shot to be sure - but Smart made a great shot and it almost went down.

That's all the Celtics had to do and they still wouldn't do it with any consistency. Could've avoided the near heart attack! lol
Tickled to death they won but they need to be smarter down the stretch.
Two things are guaranteed. Toilet bowl run the clock out hoping the game ends offense and not attacking the paint...it's infuriating. It's what they do and never learn.

Why are they taking a 3 when literally any **** will do?
So you want Snart taking a 3 with your season on the line? A well contested 3?
I think you're all lying to be honest. Blind by the fact that it worked out.
Smart did this not one but TWICE during a loss to the Sixers. Didn't work then and didn't now. It's not the play to take.

I don’t think anyone’s mentioned this yet, but White also won a jump ball against Butler. He was absolutely fantastic in this game. Between that and Strus commuting a foul with his shoe, we had great juju going.
I want to give a shout out to Brown for really hustling in the offensive glass all game. He played a lot of winning basketball.
Tatum I’m the 2nd quarter was basketball nirvana. Hopefully we get that again.

Still waiting on the 2 minute report.
Obvious carry from butler and not a word mentioned about it.

Smart hit the 3 against Sixers. The problem was that the clock ran out moving the ball around. Last night there were only 3 seconds left and the team couldn’t get a decent shot in the final 4 minutes. The only other option was for Smart to make a tough pass under duress with the Heat swarming all over him to White in the corner.
I agree the team should have run a better play - one area where I really miss Brad as coach - but Smart made a great shot and deserves praise for his decisiveness.

I understand that there are Smart apologist everywhere and yesterday was not the game to be bitching about Smart. Nor was the last one.
However I stand by my comment. Smart chucking a 3 down by 1 is a losing play. Celtics gotta be better.

Fair point except for one obvious thing…..last night it wasn’t a losing play! Agree the Cs gotta be better and thankfully they have an opportunity to be - there is going to be a game 7!

Ya I dono what you're watching but Smart didn't hit the 3 against the sixers and he didn't last night.
Let's not give Smart credit for what White did. They're two different plays.

Yes, you made it up. Watch the video again. Brown and Tatum and White all move to rebound. Bam chooses to box Brown instead of Tatum - at the foul line - and stops his progress. Tatum and White were unhindered and made it to rim.
