Congrats Celtics fans! Banner #18 is special. Super happy for y'all and especially my boy D-White. Couldn't be more proud of him.

What a dominant season y'all just had. 80-21 Final Record is crazy impressive (2nd best in franchise history — only behind the legendary ‘86 Celtics). Best team all season long and showed out on the biggest stage. Tatum and Brown proved all the long-time haters wrong with this one. Monkey is officially off the back, they're World Champions. "What they gon' say now?"

Brad Stephens deserves a ton of credit for putting together this exceptionally talented and deep roster, and Joe Muzellis deserves his flowers too for his coaching performance this year. All-around a remarkable season.

Admittedly, I (shamefully & regrettably) drank the Kool-Aid after the T-Wolves series and picked the Mavs to win this one, but I was really hoping I'd be wrong. Was pulling hard for you guys and gladly eat crow on this one. The Celtics will forever be my 2nd favorite team due to my dad growing up a die-hard Celtics/Havlicek fan. I know he's looking down with a big smile on his face right now.

And the best part about it is... I know Lakers fans are absolutely seething this morning lol. Warms my cold, dead heart :lol:

Congrats y'all. Now go and do it again next season. Would love nothing more than for the C's to Three-Peat before it's Wemby's turn

Man I’m doing nothing but looking at Celtics stuff right now lmao. This is what being a sports fan is all about. We all put so much of our time watching our favorite team ball no matter the team, it could be the hornets on a random Tuesday but most of us here are still watching the game and still getting hyped in wins. Can’t take these moments for granted, we are all so blessed with what Ainge and Stevens have built.

Next year is gonna be so fun to watch, all the nerves and anxiousness will be gone for me because the Jays got the monkey off their backs and I can see them dominating again.

I felt like a mush after I posted before game 4 so I crawled under a rock and posted nothing on realgm and watched zero nba coverage leading up to last night.

With that said, what time to be a Celtic fan.

I knew after the 1st game of the season seeing how seamless this team fit together that this was going to happen. I always felt that no team can beat this Celtics team in a 7 game series.

Any true NBA fan should appreciate what JT and JB have done to get this championship. Each year they improved on something. All those memes that people made about JB about his TO's and dribbling don't look that good anymore.

I don’t have any quotes because I’m tired asl and will know I’m getting it wrong but I remember JB have sentiment like celebrate today and get back to it tomorrow/get ready to do it again. IIRC Tatum, Jrue and (maybe) White had similar sentiments.

I said they wouldn't face a elimination game all year. I've joked in the past they probably don't even get to game 6.

I was a year early but I knew there wasn't a single team that could beat them.

Find a way to keep Al fresh for next postseason and you're looking at a repeat.

Ad in continued grown from Brown and Tatum...woooo...

And for those who dont think Tatum has another gear.

He can improve his shooting off the dribble
He can add a post up
He can add a midrange floater/jumper (Like Durant or Paul)

Honestly the midrange pullup/floater would make him impossible to defend because right now he is a 2 level scorer. 3s and rimshots.

Another underrated note here with JT. He’s about to sign the richest contract in NBA history. Was he pressing trying to live up to that before he even needed to? JB really fell apart last year in the ECF right before he signed that huge deal, and came back to have his greatest season.

Both of these guys clearly have their legacy on their minds and want to be great. These guys will be the two highest paid guys in the league next year and will be out to prove this wasn’t a fluke. League was just put on notice last night
