Just means we get the clippers pick this season basically (#23 i think)

Why there are 3 different trades involved?

Wolves traded their own pick (protected till 2012 when it's unprotected) to the Clippers for Marko Jaric

Since Wolves sucked every year after that, Clippers never got that pick, they were to get it this draft regardless of how the Wolves did

Clippers traded their own 2012 pick (not the Wolves one) to the Thunder for Eric Bledsoe, also lottery protected, but with one caveat, if that pick was to be conveyed on the 2012 draft, the lowest of that pick and the Wolves pick would be conveyed. Basically, it was an insurance that if Wolves somehow were good, Clips would trade that pick instead of their own (when they were expected to be bad)

And we got that pick in the Green-Perk trade...when we thought we weren't getting no pick at all since Clippers sucked, we were supposed to hold on to that pick till 2017 when it would've become unprotected, a potential very high lottery pick...but then CP3 happened

Killing a few minutes, I looked back at the final 11 selections of last 6 drafts (picks 50-60) besides the two most recent (04-09).

Of those 66 picks, 8 are still on rosters. Of those 66 picks, only 4 were made by Ainge. Of Ainge's 4 picks, 3 are still on NBA rosters. The likelihood (roughly) of a player picked 50 or later being on an NBA roster after two seasons: 12%

Likelihood of an Ainge selection between 50 and 60 being on a roster after two seasons: 75%

Realize it's a small sample and all. But it says a lot, I think.
