Correct.

I'd encourage you to offer a question of your own. My Cousy/Heinsohn question still stands.

OK, who holds the record for most points in a quarter? A little hint, very unlikely to be a player fondly remembered by any Celtic fan.

I know that one and you should rephrase the question to most points in the pre 3 point line NBA. Klay Thompson just broke the record this year scoring 37 points but the original was 33. I can't think of his name right now.

Were they our first and second finals mvp winners?

No. Both were retired before the award was instituted.

That's another good trivia question, actually.

The Finals MVP award was introduced Russell's last season. Who won the award, and what is unique about his selection, other than that he was the first-ever recipient?

Jerry West and he won despite his team losing the series.

Huh? It's Bird. Why would we not remember Bird fondly?

Or did you mean Klay Thompson/George Gerwvin?

My turn?

As it is a Celtics Trivia thread, I was meaning who has the Celtics record for most points in a quarter not the NBA record.

Kedrick Brown?

Yep. I was correct. I guessed it mainly because not that many guys go to community college ONLY, and any examples who did would have to have been over the past 30 years or so.

What? Didn't I win as well. The answer is Bird. I guess Todd Day tied him, but Bird is still a correct answer.

This is more of a league question than a Celtics one, but it revolves around Tommy, so what the heck:

What successful job action did Player's Association president Heinsohn organize?

Heinsohn was the president of the players' association, a position for which he had plenty of practice. He studied labor relations as a student at Holy Cross. He worked on pension plans in an insurance business during NBA off-seasons. His father had been a union official.
