been a fan since the late 60's - earliest memory - 1969 series v. LAL - Sam Jones wrong foot J to win game 4 and of course the game 7 win highlighted by Don Nelson's shot high off the back rim

really looking forward to the upcoming off season and the 2017 season

That's great, I have some foggy memories of Bird in the late 80s (born in 82), but my earliest solid memory of Boston is of watching the ML Carr coached Celtics' road games on TV, during Antoine's rookie year, with Tommy and Bob Cousy announcing. I think we had Larry Krystowiak that year. Yours wins :D

Frank Brickowski, not Larry Krystowiak... :)

I thought this was fun (plus it put certain things in perspective):

There's probably like two dozen+ plays in these playoffs that Dray SHOULD have gotten T'd up for before that weak "exchange" w/ Lebron. Tough to paint him as a victim when he's getting away with murder on damn near every other possession.

Can't let Adam & the league off scottfree tho--- if they'd just been consistent from the start a LOT less people calling BS on a dude getting a Flagrant 1 for an attempted balltap. This league has made it basically impossible to confidently give them the benefit of the doubt on this kinda stuff though.

I agree, Green plays really hard but he crosses the line pretty often, not to mention he's also dirty. That being said, LeBron basically never gets called for a foul. I think I remember him complaining "I never foul out!" the first time (also last?) that he fouled out. He turns on the jets and runs over other players at will, no calls at all. If, say, Tyler Zeller was the one trying to pull those stunts, he'd foul out before halftime every game. So it's pretty sad that someone like LeBron got away with manipulating the league into suspending Green. Justice has been served, yet in this case it leaves a sour taste in one's mouth.

They would give LeBron free throws for that. Smh.

Nba is going to try and steal this game but GS is still going to wax that ass.

Is this the first NBA finals game with a team in sleeved jerseys? Or did the Cavs/Warriors wear them at somepoint last year? I have a vague memory of the Warriors wearing them.

Man. This post made me depressed. I hope the Cavs win just so we can watch more basketball. The playoffs were awful this year.

Well I think the draft and free agency will make things go by quick for us. Summer league soon and some basketball in the Olympics to keep us going until camp and preseason. Time flies though..season will be here in no time.

I guess. Draft and free agency may just be more depressing.

Summers always feel long in my line of work too. I'm really going to miss NBA basketball.

Let's hope not.

If it makes you feel any better, this game will last about 4 and a half hours at this rate. My gosh.
