I think that Danny either makes a Midseason Trade, or more likely, waits 'til the offseason, and goes for a FA.

We have fantastic positioning in the Draft, from Brooklyn.
And 3 players on Stash, who are all doing well, in Zizic, Yabusele and Nader.

I'm having my doubts about Mickey being here next Season.
Jerebko though, if he comes in at the low-ball deal, would still be good.
We still need a Rebounding Center. Not sure if Bogut is that, until Zizic gets up to speed?

Thomas / Rozier / Jackson
Bradley / Smart / ROOKIE
Crowder / Brown / Nader / TWO-WAY CONTRACT
Horford / Giles-Jerebko? / Yabusele / TWO-WAY CONTRACT
CENTER / Zizic / Olynyk

Olynyk is going to cost too much to be a 3rd string guy. He will get 4 years 60 million. I think he falls into the Turner category of guys you would like to keep and who you will miss but are too costly to keep. It would be a lot easier to keep Olynyk if his biggest weakness (rebounding) wasn't Horford's biggest weakness or if we had that LeBron / Curry / A Davis talent on our team already.

This. Zach Randolph would be great if we can get him. Saw the last game against memphis and amir looks about to break his body banging up against z-bo. Maybe a 2+1 type of deal. I don't know his market price though.

With decisions soon on IT and AB there is no way Ainge is giving KO $15+ million a year. KO's fate was sealed when Ainge refused to talk contract extension before the season.

Think there's a decent chance that he is our starter by the playoffs(probably sooner) and you don't get much for RFAs. What type of deal would you be looking at that doesn't majorly hurt our team? While 4 is the deepest position in the league, 2-way stretch 4s are fairly rare. Horford's the only big that is guaranteed to be here next year and he'll be 31. We'll still have to wait to see what the new RFA rules are, but we can be left with a much worse roster if we don't get one of those Tier A or Tier A- FAs and also lose KO.

Think there is a greater chance KO is traded by the deadline

PG - Thomas, Smart, Jackson
SG - Bradley, Rozier
SF - Crowder, Brown, Nader
PF - Horford, Jerebko, Yabusele
C - Zizic, Mickey

Gone: Zeller, Amir, KO, Green, Young

Draft: Brooklyn 2017 pick = BPA

Free agency: Sign BPA. Ainge needs to do this because it's his last chance at free agency in a while because of AB and IT.

Trades: Address team needs with the entire roster.

I think Yabusele is our Olynyk project 2.0. Less height more athleticism though IMO.

Trade for Millsap. Draft BPA. Bring over Zizic and Yabusele.
IT/Fultz,Ball or Smith
AB/Smart
Crowder/Brown
Millsap/Yabusele
Horford/Zizic

Fill the rest of the roster with vets and Nader.

Green played himself into the Rotation this season. He may be worth a look for next season, at the Vet Minimum.
Also, we have a few Rookies coming in. -- And, don't forget the 2 x Two-Way Contracts, for next year.

This is like, 6 players too little.

We need to keep some continuity from our last two seasons.
Also, we need 17 players next season.

I disagree on Millsap. And Horford should be our PF, going forward.

Yabusele & Žižić both, will be some improvement over Olynyk.
Which we are definitely going to need, presuming that KO is gone.
We have to Trade Olynyk, or we get nothing when/if he goes to Free Agency.

To think Olynyk was almost present in every FA recruitment. Now he's the one on the block to be shipped out.

We don't need to go for a Superstar, like Melo, etc. -- And, I didn't like the Horford Trade, either.
We have the makings to Contend on our Current Roster, and with our Future Picks.

Extend Thomas, Bradley, Smart, & Crowder. Give them that money. Not all-in on one person.
Let Horford move on, as soon as we can. That Pickup, was a mistake. It's Not the Right Time.

Keep Brown, both Brooklyn picks, and for Continuity -- Rozier, Jerebko & Olynyk.
If Žižić, or Olynyk, can start, then something like the following Roster is doable.

2017-18 Proposed Roster:
Thomas / Rozier / Jackson?
Bradley / Smart / BRK-17 / Two-Way Contract
Crowder / Brown / Nader
Horford / Jerebko / Yabusele
Žižić --- / Olynyk / Mickey / Two-Way Contract

1-3 Year Players are all eligible for Two-Way Contracts:
Jackson, Yabusele, Nader. Mickey could be too, if his non-guaranteed is waived before July 1, 2017.

I believe that we can Contend for the Title by the 2018-19 Season. Half the time it took to win the last Championship.

No need for anything drastic. Hayward isn't taking less money to come here. No need for any crazy trades.

Thomas/Ball/Jackson
AB/Smart
Crowder/Brown/Nader
Horford/ PF/C that can cover both positions.
???/Zizic
-
I will be hyped to see that second unit blossom, grow and eventually become our starting unit with Bamba or Ayton hopefully becoming our stud C. There's a huge gap between our starters and Young guys, but that's going to happen. We are essentially rebuilding while still winning.

Gordon Hayward -- Would take Crowder's spot. He's definitely not a permanent SG.
Anthony Davis -- That would be nice.
Solomon Hill -- Feel the Dream, Bro.

That looks like too much of a shake-up to both Units. It'd take awhile to adjust to that.
Also, you're 4 Players short.

I feel you, on not having Žižić Start, right off the bat.
But that person could be Olynyk, for a time. KO can also slide back to that Backup PF/C role.

Jusuf Nurkić, is being held up for Trade. He's still on his Rookie contract.

Honestly not a bad idea to compete right now, but neither team does that deal because:
1. Boston will find it to be an overpay given Brook's injury history and Crowder's contract
2. Nets have LaVert/RHJ on the wings and they probably don't want to deal with BOS any time soon, although in terms of assets, this is a 10/10 for them
