I don't get Morris, if he was an 80% shooter from 3 point range that still would have been a stupid shot so early in the clock. Just man up and say you made a mistake.

I do wish the team works on their high fives and body bumps. It could be the lack of practice days hurting us in this regard.

Ah, the lack of chemistry everyone's been talking about. Clearly visible.

Bradley's injected energy into the whole team. Drummond got diminished in people's minds, but he's really good. They were more talented than their record last year.

(I kept hoping the Celtics would trade for Drummond last season and kept posting about it. At least the Celtics did get another Piston center.)

Also, Reggie Jackson is fully healthy. He wasn't healthy at any point last year. That killed his game and in turn took the Pistons down as well.

Would blow to lose the streak to these scum because of injuries.

This game is like a playoff game to Raps fans, going to be sweet when that board implodes around 5:45 tomorrow night.

Not a great quote.

Hes not really complaining to the team about it. He knows he had ongoing soreness in his knees and we're just being careful with him. It's okay to understand but still be frustrated by it. He wishes he wasn't on the restriction but it is what it is

To me, it's less about sounding like he's whining about the minutes restriction and more about the lack of self-awareness. He took a bad, early-in-the-clock shot that could've cost us the game. It was right after an OREB and we could've wasted more clock. He sounded like he was defending a bad decision he didn't want to own up to even in retrospect. Concerning if he actually thinks he made the right call 'cos he can easily find himself in the same situation where we don't get a favorable result.

In any case, he was one of the heroes of the game. Kept us in it during the 3rd qtr and made key stops at the end. Just need to be smarter next time.

Three reasons why the streak will remain intact

1. Lowry has taken a big step back in production so far, scoring only 12.9 PTS in 31 min. He hasn't cracked 20 points once this season. His 6.5 assists and 5 rebounds are respectable but the big 1-2 punch of DeRozan/Lowry seems to fall mostly on DeRozan's shoulders.

2. Despite their decent size and 7ft bigs (Valancunias, Ibaka, Nogueria, Poeltl) the Raps are only 24th in rebounding (C's are 4th). If our guards and wings keep rebounding like they have done, we should win this battle. Brad will try to pull their bigs out to the perimeter on offense, which should open up the paint. If they sag off, we should have plently of decent three point looks.

3. Dwane Casey loves using the pick and roll. Brad Stevens loves defending the pick and roll. Obviously, Horford plays a big role in this but thanks to our effective switching, I'm still pretty positive we can keep them below 100 pts. Our large wings should match well with DeRozan.

FINALLY a game I can watch live. Matinee games are a blessing for us European Celtics fans. BEAT THE NORTH!

It's not like a playoff game to us at all.

It is, however, an important game considering we're division rivals and that the Celtics are currently the best team in the league. This is our first "test" against a legitimate conference foe, although we have had a brutally difficult schedule to date.

His line drive jumpers drive me insane. Schoolyard basketball. Those shots would have so much better accuracy if he could just put even a little arc on it

Maturity has never been the strong suit of either Morris. Lets just hope the good can outweigh the bad with him.

You and I both know that if Toronto wins, there's at least a 47% chance your franchise will hang up a "Nov. 12, 2017 Marquee Matchup Champions" banner in the stadium.

Bradley helps, but Drummond is making his FTs and that has changed his whole mentality.
