Is there a team that has had worse injury luck than the Celtics over the last decade?

2009: KG
2011: Rondo and Shaq
2012: Uhh everybody. Seriously. Who WASN'T either out or playing hurt on that team?
2013: Rondo
2016: Bradley
2018: Kyrie, Hayward, Theis (can throw Smart in there, too, as he missed the first four games of this series)

Just look at that for a second. Look at ALL of those injuries. Jesus.

And I even left out IT last year because we were already done at that point anyway, but if you want, you can throw him in, as well.

He dropped 44 and 46 in two of the Cavs' wins in this series and 32 in the other. Also something to keep in mind: Oladipo was completely trash in two out of those three games. All of that, and the Cavs just won those games by the skin of their teeth.

I think Cleveland will win Game 7, because I don't see LeBron going out in the first round, but it's not a foregone conclusion. The Pacers could beat them. I wouldn't bet on it, but I'd say it's like 60-40 Cavs right now when usually it would be like 90-10 for a LeBron-led team in a Game 7 at home against a lower-seeded squad.

I think the Cavs will get a lot of calls in game 7 at home. I think the idea of Pacers/Raptors scares the hell out of the league, hell even I admit I would have little interest in that series.

60-40 Cavs for game 7 sounds about right to me, since the Cavs probably win another close one at home. Many were going nuts over the ending to game 5, so this was almost a makeup game to the Pacers and their fans.

Also this game 7 thing will just torture the Raptors fans even more. They can't just jump ahead and get ready for game 1 now. They have to wait to see if their LeFather will win for sure.

Pacers like the Celtics have struggled in Toronto.

Of course the Cavs are odd, who is their reliable second option? It seems to have to be Kyle Korver now. They probably will need JR to show up in game 7 though. Celtics are not the only team who misses Irving right now, with Irving I bet the Cavs win this series already rather easily.

Yeah. If the Cavs had Kyrie, this series would probably already be over. Heck, honestly, at this point, they probably should have just kept IT. A hobbled IT is still better than the rest of the trash on that roster.

I had wondered if IT would have held off on the hip surgery if he had stayed in Cleveland, or if it was urgent.

Since the trades they made at the deadline are proving to be God awful in this series.

Basically Korver didn't show up tonight. This series kinda goes where Lebron/Korver go. If they both go off the Cavs usually find a way to win.

This Cleveland team though.......even I am shocked it has fallen off this bad. But it kinda makes me think of the Celtics and how we have only been able so far to show up at home with all our role players. If the Cavs on the road don't have Lebron show up big time they are toast.

This current Celtics team is BETTER then the team around Lebron in Cleveland. Horford, Brown, Tatum would all be huge upgrades on that Cleveland roster.

Cleveland also looks like toast if they think they have legit trade assets to use to get better talent around Lebron. They got very little that most teams would have interest in.

The thing to see will be if James quit on them in Game 7.

I am worried about our game btw since I know a really stupid sports fan in real life who is ALWAYS wrong. He told me alllll last year the Pats were a lock to win the Super Bowl. And how it was Pats over Philly, easy! He even had Andrew Luck being MVP last year.

Every year this dude is wrong. When the Cavs were down 1-3 in the finals to the Warriors he was all like "Hahahaha Lebron is done, Warriors will cruise to the title now 4-1."

In the offseason he had the Celtics winning the east due to Hayward/Irving coming here. He had us losing the finals to the Warriors.

For this postseason he has.......*gulp*, Celtics over Bucks in 7. Pacers over Cavs in 7. He is even switching to Philly to win the east.

I will see if this guys kiss of death predictions continue tomorrow since I got years of fails by him.

And who he picks in March Madness? I wait until I find out who he puts in the finals and then I pick against it. This year he said Kansas was a lock to make the final 2.

Celtics have a ton to overcome in game 7 as well as the Pacers. This dude occasionally gets something right though.

Last years team would have walked through the East this year....god I hate injuries and we’ve dealt with way more than any other team recently

Don't believe in my gut he would do this in Cleveland to those fans. He would certainly quit in Toronto though, Canada is far enough away lol.

without Kyrie going killer on us last season we probably have a chance, even without IT4. glad we have him now and can't wait for a healthy season. This team without GH and KI kinda reminds me of last years playoff team, we don't have enough consistent offensive firepower.

I don't normally quote Lakers fans, but this on general one said made me spit out my water.

LeGoat carrying his team to game 7 vs. the 5th seed Oladipo, Stephenson, Bogdanovic Pacers. It's the stuff of legend folks. We are all witnesses. Pay attention.
