Issue is better is not good enough. We don't celebrate second round exits in Boston. We celebrate contenders.

I see what you did there lol but in all seriousness you were more of a team without him last year when he was injured ..plus he isn't worth the drama..wants the media's attention but then can't handle their questions after losses

I actually didn't mean that as a shot at Toronto, haha. I just meant that the Celtics would likely be a perennial second-round exit without him (though they might be one with him).

He's been a terrible leader, without question, which is why I feel Horford should take control of the team (like last year). I just doubt that'll happen.

Also, our cap situation still sucks without him. You won't have a max slot to replace him.

I'm sorry, this dude is just insufferable. Here he is blathering on about how he is so much better than any of the other players that Brad has ever coached that it's a such a big adjustment for Brad to handle. He's gone and I won't miss him.

He's pretty easily the best player Brad has ever coached. And Brad has never had a team this talented. Not like he was lying

Only a jerk says that without considering what he's saying about his teammates -- e.g., Horford was a 5-time All-Star--and his coach. He's a bozo.

I’ll post here too... but not for nothing, Brian Windhorst was on The Jump with Paul Pierce saying not to assume that Kyrie and KD “teaming up” means playing in NY. He said not to count out that place being Boston.

I’m in the few that really likes dudes like Windhorst and Stephen A Smith. I like listening to their takes.. even if I don’t always agree.

You don't want KD on this team?

If it's no KD and no titles vs KD and titles, what do you choose?

Kyrie will be a Celtic next year, and playing alongside one of either KD or AD.

Wishful thinking perhaps? ...but if in his world the earth is flat, then how can he not possibly see the future ahead? ....For the rest of us, we know not what lies just beyond the horizon.....And dammit, it's scary when super star caliber players show no loyalty to anything other than that almighty dollar.... I think that is what is happening here? .....They are all waiting for the domino's to fall rather than just playing ball...I've said this before...If Kyrie would commit to long term, then the others would know their fate....And this team can get down to business again....Any other scenario spells failure for this group...It's up to the self-proclaimed leader to lead..So get on with it already!

If Kyrue doesn’t want media, go back to Cleveland. And hope he realizes that nyc is Boston tjmes 100.

When he complains about Media, I hear no way NYC.

I never liked Kyrie. Even when he was traded to this team and I had no choice but to support him. His pseudo-intellectual attitude and fake leadership is tiring. However, I respect him as a player and if keeping him means that the Celtics will win a ring, then Ainge better bust his ass signing this man. The matter of fact is, Kyrie is an elite player during the playoffs. Who else is going to take over a game in the playoffs when we need someone to (i.e Game 7 against the Cavs)? We need him.

Kyrie, KD and JT getting all smiley and buddy buddy at the end of the game made me wonder a bit..would be very Danny Ainge like to sell us on a AD pursuit and then go for Durant who we all know is his real desire since like..ever.

Kyrie’s tone seem to have changed past few games. I really think he’s coming around.

I have a theory that Kyrie finally told everyone he's gone and that they should focus on winning it all this year. That would probably alleviate tension in the locker room. I hope I'm wrong because the Celtics clearly need this guy so if reload wants to debunk this theory more than welcome. But I'm guessing the conversation with Danny and Brad kind of went like that.
