Just don’t see brad not getting his way here (which is an issue for sure)and I think brad’s way is gonna give Hayward the benefit of the doubt. Incredible loyalty to each other and on brads part it may go to the point where he’s blinded by sentimality.

And then what? Sign him to another big deal when the core of our team is in their early 20s? It makes zero sense. And he can't just walk for nothing. We have to deal him now..

And you’re sure they won’t try and get him on a lower annual salary and extended a few years? On a more movable contract ? I’m not. Again your coming at me like I’m saying they shouldn’t trade him.......I’m not.

I’m saying I dont think they will. I think brad wants him, Brad trusts him and I think brad will win that fight. I could be completely wrong and I hope I am but Let’s see. I understand the contract complications and I see the reports from bontemps that he’ll opt in....let’s see what happens

Meh. Brad has gotten pretty used to playing without him. And Danny has to put his foot down and if Brad quits, so be it. He sucked in the playoffs anyway

Hayward and picks to clippers for PG....clippers get space to make a run at giannis- we get another versatile wing who can be a number 2 to tatum.......I’m joking guys

Turner has a lots of potential and is still very young. I think he could be a part of our core with the Jays.

Andrew Wiggins? I don't want that contract. Guy doesn't care about winning. He's the same player he's been since he came into the league. Call me crazy but I'd rather trade Gordon for future assets, or roleplayers. We need a bench.

We'd be doing it to grab LaMelo, an elite playmaker with superstar potential. Wiggins is just a nice guy to have..

A big no no to LaMelo and his crazy ass dad. Plus I haven't watched him but if he's shooting it the same way as his brother, the kid ain't going nowhere.

I have called out Hayward multiple times for his play (or lack of for months and months) and he is a guy who gets paid 30M per year to play basketball, but I honestly feel sorry for the guy.

He has had probably the worst luck out of every player in the league for the last 3 seasons - and it's not like he was injury prone before. His huge contract created big expectations from the fans and he of course hasnt been able to meet those. But he has always been super professional and even made known sacrifices to his body and his family to try and honor the contract he's playing for. Last year trainwreck of a team and he was unrightfully targeted by a few players but you never heard him air out 1 thing for the complete s***show the Celtics were.

I know he has disappointed me and probably most of the Celtics fans, but (even though it might sound ridiculous for a multimillionaire) I feel for him and his tenure here makes me sad more than frustrated for the waste of a max contract he was.

Having said that, even though it's tough, I agree it would be best if he was traded before the start of this season.

Okay good. Now trade him and all of the picks for Bradley Beal, please. Or hell...even Gobert/Embiid. Granted those two would cost much more.

He's a much better shooter/scorer than his brother. He just takes a lot of tough shots. Shoots FT's at 82%. His bro is in the 60s.

Whether you think Turner is worth the package is one thing, but as far as whether he does anything for us

Well...

Turner averaged 16 pts, 11 reb & 4 blk against Miami to Bam's 15 pts, 11 reb & 5 ast.

Theis, Kanter & Time Lord combined averaged 15 pts, 15 reb & 1 blk to Bam's 22 pts, 11 reb & 5 ast

I've been in the boat for awhile of Trading --- Hayward/(picks) for Turner/Warren or Lamb
If we have to add something else, then fine. Not Theis, though. He's still our best two-way Center.

I can also see Turner playing either PF or C. That would be helpful.

I think that the Youth Movement is a good idea. Have some players around for the long-haul.
Our current batch, have all been to the ECF. Some, like Smart & Brown, have been there 3 times in 4 years.

We definitely have a good nucleus.
