He’s going to crush in Jaylen’s old role (as Jaylen moves into Hayward’s). Get ready for us to “overpay” him in four years!

I like the idea of a Nesmith/Brown/Tatum future. Just hope these guys grow and become special.
Most importantly though, REALLY hope Nesmith's foot isn't a problem..

At least Skip Bayless will be on our side now. FWIW.

Smart/Brown/Nesmith/Tatum — slide Okongwu in at the center and we’re golden:)
Or Williams or Tacko:)

Yeah a hotstreak while taking 8 threes a game. Great analysis!

Perfect pick for you guys. Elite shooter with good size. He was one of the guys I thought for awhile would be perfect for you guys to take with your early pick.
Pretty much a Joe Harris with a longer wingspan.

Re: Welcome to Boston, Aaron Nesmith!
Best shooter in the draft. Vandy also ran a lot of NBA actions with Stackhouse as coach which helps. He’ll really help space the floor and be a Duncan Robinson type shooting threat.
Don’t need him to create but I think he has some untapped ability there. Great frame too.

Re: Welcome to Boston, Aaron Nesmith!
I love his movement on offense. Seems to know how to relocate and get himself open off ball. That’ll help a ton. Dribbling and attacking looked pretty rough. Great size. If he can defend well enough to get minutes, he should help quite a bit.

We sometimes have a standing around problem when Tatum or Brown have the ball, his motion will be really valuable whether it leads to shots for him or as a distraction for other defenders.

Re: Welcome to Boston, Aaron Nesmith!
He had 2nd most points per possession in the NCAA off of screens. He’s lethal off those actions as a shooter. He’s really going to open the floor up for the creators on offense.
Down the line you hope Nesmith can develop his shot creation obviously but right now he brings one elite skill which is really helpful.

excellent pick. With Hayward leaving (or not) he allows Jaylen to slide to his more natural 3 and provides yet another shooter in Brad's system. High defensive upside. Will put a lot of pressure on the defense and cause breakdowns which our athletes around him will be able to take advantage of. A+

Re: Welcome to Boston, Aaron Nesmith!
I don’t know what you guys were watching but i have looked at hella video, especially the lowlights, and his d is going to end up very good for us. He had his poopoo platter of bad moments but his good moments were great! If he puts in the effort his d is going to be really solid. His bad moments on d weren’t an ability issue but an issue like most offensive players, focus and effort on that end. Whether he stays with us or gets moved i bet he is going to shut some players down at times in the NBA. CBS will definitely set him up to maximize his defensive talent.
I don’t see one dimensional either but I’m not as into offense as most people. He needs to work a lot on the handle and be smarter but he has the ability to do more than 3 and d.
I don’t know what he’s going to be but at 21 you can’t expect him to have it all together.
I’m still sad about Hali so I’m not as excited as i usually am but i don’t dislike this pick. I wish his shot was a tick faster but if it goes in when he’s wide open, which he will be, then toss it up!

Re: Welcome to Boston, Aaron Nesmith!
Are Nesmith and Pritchard upgrades over Semi and Wanamaker, at the very least? 'Cos those two were playing significant minutes for us last season. I like Brad more than most but we may not be able to afford him.
