That's not the path to greatness, Tatum. Stars show up in the 4th.

I could easily fix that. Run the ball through Tatum. Surround Tatum with shooters and not over dribblers. Tell him to attack.. he gets doubled pass. If he takes soft azz fadeaways, Pull him..

Maybe it will "run him out of Boston" or maybe he will man up and become what I think he can be.. Either way this same old shet has to stop..

And an ejection

I'm actually a Westbrook fan but at this point he is the definition of "doin too much"

LOL. They wanted this guy. Gotta shut up, get up from under that bus and get better. Dude **** sucked tonight. There were like 3 or 4 50/50 balls and he lost all of them. Pathetic effort.

We have the coach calling out players and telling the team they're going to get their ass kicked in warm-ups because of their lack of focus. I can see this happening about halfway through the season but five games in it's not a great look.

This team picks and chooses it's opponents and who to play well against. That has been clear for two years now. Maybe early success took the meaning of these early games away, but I hate this attitude. Glad Ime called them out for disrespecting their opponents.

I believe it was Larry Bird who said players start to tune out their coach after 3 or 4 years games. Back to iso ball and low effort/energy from our main guys. Replace Ime? So it wasn't Brad after all lol.

Wake me up when Jaylen "Turnover King" Brown is traded for Domantas Sabonis.

This is partially Brad's fault. Dude accepted this **** for too long and never said anything. This isn't new.. Ime has to reset this BS mindset and he is doing it the hard way.

Tatum and Jaylen aren't leaders. They should be setting the tone and practices and pushing everyone. They haven't show that ability. They are a team of individual parts thus far exactly like last year.

I loved the Smart-Schroder-Richardson defensive trio in that short stint. Our ball pressure has been amazing for stretches. Got us back into the game. We're just poop at PnR defense. And still shoot ourselves in the foot with dumb decisions on offense.

Oh, and even when overmatched at times, Grant has those little tricks that get the team extra possessions/points down pat in his 3rd year.

I think the Celtics are going to be real active around the mid season trade deadline

Heard this all last year. AL and Timelord have played good. They should be better. Period. They have a better roster than last year

with maybe a worse coach :nonono:

Maybe, lol.

It's too soon, but I was thinking during the game what coach can we get out there.

Smart and Brown were our worst players tonight and they got the most minutes.

No minutes at all for Pritchard or Nesmith. Ime has very little clue on what he is doing out there.

it's what he said, don't be hesitant to post it. if you guys don't post it and other stuff a lot of people will miss it. thanks!

he "said" more, like talking about him coming off covid/missing 10 days, how the games went long the game b4, and his knee could all be part of it. he also talked about needing to get him easier shots to get him going instead of jb having to think he has to get himself going all on his own. the midrange shot they got him that got him going in the 4th is what he mentioned. said he has to tell him and jb has to carry the load when Tatum is out [he didn't obviously].

the full part on jb wasn't as bad as that quote sounds, but it certainly was not the "nice guy" that we got from brad. you could tell he wasn't pleased (from the words), ime seems to tell it more like it is. still has the weird calm demeanor like brad though. I can't tell if he's mad or half asleep.
