Total Wins by Division
Atlantic: 231
Central: 188
South East: 196
North West: 193
Pacific: 218
South West: 197

Taking out the Atlantic Division is excellent work, the hardest of all divisions....

Great team game but had to go JT (even if I wanted to go Al to put him past Denis).

Bring on Brooklyn (or Cleveland).

Post-trade deadline, Celtics had a net rating of 13.3. #2 in East is Heat with 4.1. That's the difference between 2nd best team and 13th best team in the East in that span.

Remain dominant. Just keep doing what you do. Play D, share the ball.

Just get me to the playoffs. All the jockeying for position and who it’s gonna be I’m over it just tip off and let’s get it rockin. Curious to see how things play out and am cautiously optimistic. I don’t wanna see another chart or efficiency rating I just want the playoffs here so we can see for ourselves how good we are.

I’ve never been on the this team is a championship team this year even during our amazing stretch - felt and still do offense will be the death of us eventually but right now I’m just gonna sit back and enjoy the show and see what happens. Best part of today for me is Tatum’s shot was looking perfect and he had some bounce after a few stinkers.

I preferred avoiding the nets if possible not because I didn’t think we could win but because they have a guy in KD Who potentially could wreck a series. I also wanted to delay a buck series for as far off as possible if for nothing else but selfishly wanting to get an extended playoff run to watch more basketball - but if we are going to have to play them early may as well do it with home court advantage.

C’s up

Which was smart of the Bucks. They saw KD take them to by 7 by himself last year and see the Nets are 36-19 (56 win pace) with KD in the lineup this year. Why the **** would you want to play them first round?

If the Nets really are to be feared, they’ll beat us, and the Bucks will have to play them anyways. And why not beat the Cavs and ensure the Nets have to play a tougher Atlanta team in the play-in? I really feel like the Bucks lack a “championship or bust” mentality. Bud is probably thinking “if we lose in the 2nd round i won’t get fired”. That being said, this Nets team is made of glass, and may be missing key guys by the 2nd round. And Chicago is practically a first round bye…

Regardless, I think we can all agree that the NBA needs to let teams pick their opponents :)

Tatum finished the season with a +12.1 net rating, the next closest was Rob with +10. A net rating on/off of +14, the next closest was Jaylen at +5.4. Good lord

Also his highest TS since his rookie year, despite shooting 35.3% from three. Dude 100% deserves 1st team all nba.

I wonder if this win will give him a legit boost to make 1st team, considering the Celts are the 2nd seed and not like the 4th.

I think it’ll be Luka, Tatum, Giannis, Embiid, and Jokic.

I’m so proud of how your Jaylen has played the last few months.

it's weird to me that Shaq has become such a hater. I mean, yeah, he's a laker, but he also wore the green.

SuperDeluxe wrote:This was one of the wildest seasons ever since I've been following the Celtics (31 years). How exhilarating it's been to see this team find its form and become a well-oiled demolition hammer. (And one so much fun to watch!)

I'm not saying the Celtics are a contender, but at the same time I don't fear anyone in the postseason. Let's just enjoy the journey and beat some ass in the process (ideally Brooklyn ass).

Thanks for being along for the ride, guys and gals.

We've been frustrated for a long time whether it be due to injuries, poor coaching, poor decision making, poor efforts, this team just didn't seem to deliver when it needed to. This turning around January is exhibiting the team we've been wanting to see, that we've known they could become. Let's all hope they keep this going in the playoffs.

The 5 on the floor are soooo
Much better than last year.
Another hat tip to PBS.
Talent, defense, force
Across the board better.

Net rating in 7 games without Rob is still #1 at 11.8. Off rtg last 5 games with Theis/Al starting is 130!
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Boston in 5 and kyrie gives up halfway thru game 4 while the 14 nets fans in attendance boo him.
