Gallo, Horf, and Muscala all played for the Hawks. Asst coach Ben Sullivan coached there. Brogdon and Brown are both from Georgia.

But if we make more than one trip to Atlanta in this series, I would be disappointed.

A game 7 in Boston could mean another championship for Boston.

Remember 2008, when the Celts beat the Hawks in game 7?

This series going 7 games is not a bad thing.

The Hawks had a point differential average of -13.3 points per game against the Celtics in the regular season. That's their worst against any East team.

The Cs are the only East team that swept them. The Hawks are the only East playoff team the Cs swept.

The Hawks were outscored by 13.7 pts per 100 possessions with their franchise player on the floor. They were outscored by 24.2 pts per 100 possessions with our franchise player on the floor.

JB blocking a dude who's 5" taller than him.

Yeah, he's fine and will start game 1 on saturday.

LFG!

I personally like the 3:30 Saturday time. Can plan a nice day drinking Celtics game...too bad weather isn't like it will be today.

Hawks strategy to attack the offensive glass against Miami worked. Counter to public perception, Boston the number one defensive rebounding team tho.

Brown’s shooting hand is clenched the whole time. Either he was told to do that because stitches are still in or there is a deeper cut than we were led to believe.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Will be interesting to see how effective Capela can be with Al stretching the floor. Atlanta is a fun team but the Cs should wrap this up in 5. My prediction is Hawks come in hot, take Game 1 and then we take the next 4

However it is right now, reporting is on the optimistic side.

Not really a statistical oddity. It’s more that he’s referencing the wrong stats. Defensive rebounding % is possession-based. Shouldn’t be using raw totals for second chance points. Per 100 possessions, Celtics allow the sixth LEAST opponent second chance points.

EDIT: Checked again. Even on a per-game basis, Cs allow the 7th LEAST second chance points. Mr. Willis just read the column wrong.

Credit where credit is due. Hawks offense better since Snyder took over. But since defense was worse, they're still mid. 11-11 since Quin got hired.

Pre-Quin: 13th in offensive rating
Quin: 4th in offensive rating

If Trae is >>> Smart then you couldn't fit the number of ">" you need to put between JT/JB and Hunter/Collins.
