So far, the Celtics haven't played a team with a formidable backup big other than the Wolves (Naz Reid) and he ended up with a +4 in a 5-pt loss. At a minimum, his stint on the floor didn't hurt us that time. There's just not a lot of teams in the league with above average bench bigs. And I don't think Joe will play him 10 minutes against a Jokic or Embiid if KP/Al are available. He's a regular season minutes eater and he's playing that role to a tee, just like last season. Just roll him out with Tatum-led lineups.

The Kornet overreactions are wild. He’s a fine regular season player. Most teams don’t even have a reliable backup big

Good bounce back win, especially at home and coming off 2 straight losses.

The bench were good. Sam and PP were hitting their shots. Luke was good and the 9 rebounds was what I loved the most. Most times I feel like Luke just doesn't do that enough. I'd be happy if he goes away from doing the Kornet Contest entirely and just fight for boards every single time. Dude's freakin' 7'2.

And I don't want to be a party pooper but I'm still not fully satisfied with how the offense looks. I feel like the ball can still move better and quicker and there are still plenty of times where the Jays hold on to the ball for too long while the 4 other guys are basically just watching.

I was mildly confused and almost disinterested in the in-season tournament before this game. Now I'm slightly more confused and solidly disinterested.

It's just a gimmick and you have a right to be disinterested.

Easy win against a middle team.

Who’s always on the floor when JT is off?

That’s right… tougher opposing lineups.

Nice, stress-free win. Kept everybody healthy and their minutes low on the first night of a back to back.

Weird how we have 15 pages of discussion on how the Celtics take too many threes against Philly but not a peep when they take even more against Brooklyn.

We are so superior talent wise to so many teams that a lot of of the time Jaylen and Jayson focus on padding their scoring stats other than playing team ball so that leads to bad turnovers because "me, me".

When they involve him in the offense, good things happen every time. Gonna say it all season

The claim the last 2 games was no bigs in the middle. Instead they underutilized Porzingas so they could launch 3's against a team with no size. It's clear Joe wants then launching any open 3 at anytime they get one. Color me unimpressed with the regular season outalent them offense they run. I am happy with the effort on defense last night though. Nets made them scramble a lot.

Because it worked against a team that doesn’t play much defense. Shocker. Missing the big picture there chief

On the contrary, the Nets don't play much defense in the paint because they're missing Claxton.

So why are the Celtics shooting more 3s against Brooklyn when the defense inside the paint is weak?

Celts should've pounded the ball inside more, right?
