All we need is insurance. Rotation is set, roster is set.

Exactly, as we only have 1 bench point guard who can see the floor come playoff time in Pritchard. If he gets injured, it compromises how Joe can spread out White and Holiday in the rotation. It would force in an extra coaching issue we don't want to have in the playoffs. Joe needs to focus on game strategies, not spreading out thin PG minutes.

When insurance has too low a cap on its payout, or too high a deductible, it's not really insurance at all.

FYI, Patty Mills averaged 18 PPG, 5 APG, 5 RPG, 38% from 3 on 6 attempts per game at the FIBA World Cup last summer for team Australia.

The dude can still ball, imo.

Backcourt insurance, and veteran leadership/championship experience.

I see no downside.

Shake Milton appears to be heading to the Knicks.

Trend seems to be buyout guys and FAs choosing destinations where they can play, at the minimum as rotation backups rest of regular season.

Players prioritizing a career boost will have playing time on top of the list. That leaves the Celtics looking at old guys who've made some money and are looking for a ring, and young or marginal guys looking for a job.

Shake Milton to the Knicks. Every contender in the east has filled roster spaces with vets, except Boston and Cleveland. IDK, feel like I've seen this movie before. When teams get past the first round things really have to be on point. Even a minor injury or a missed play can be critical.

Tillman, in the limited minutes, already looks like he's got an understanding of what to do. The team has 4 big. Springer is still TBD.

I'd like to see one more ball handler to have on the bench behind Holiday, White and Pritchard.

Boston needs to sign Patty Mills if for no other reason his name demands it. How can you not sign a guy named Patty on a team based on an Irish Leprechaun????

Sign Aaron Baynes for 10 day contract! Let everyone dunk on his a$$. Trade him on the 9th day for Gym equipment from another team

Whats wrong with a vet guard as your 15th man. What else could be useful?

Another big.
An investment in future seasons.

Your Baynes' obsession isn't healthy. I hope you'll find something more positive to channel your energy in the future.

If Cs wanted to convert Queta and sign another two-way, today’s the last day to do that too.

We’re set with our bigs. I doubt they convert Queta now.

So OPJ wasn't bought out before the deadline. Neither was Osman or PJ Tucker.

This is the updated list of available players who could sign with a team and be eligible for that team's playoff roster:

Patty Mills
Danuel House Jr
Ish Smith
Chimezie Metu
Furkan Korkmaz
Cory Joseph
Victor Oladipo
Killian Hayes
Kevin Knox
Jaylen Nowell
Terence Davis
Danny Green
Austin Rivers
Javonte Green
Blake Griffin
Frank Ntilikina
James Bouknight
Kai Jones
Joe Harris (can't sign with a 2nd apron team)
Marcus Morris (can't sign with a 2nd apron team)

So it's either sign 1 of these guys, leave the 15th roster spot open, convert 1 of our 2-way guys (Queta, Peterson, JD) or sign some under the radar guy out of the G league to see if he might develop into something for next year.. or perhaps is trade filler over the summer.

Either way, whatever we do with the 15th roster spot will likely not have much impact (if any) on our title chances..
