Ya

It's crazy how many guys have already gotten signed haha.

Think every team has signed at least 1 but not more than 4 UDFA..

Celtics with just 1 - Enaruna.

Only guys I know for sure who will be on our SL team:

Walsh
Scheierman
Watson
Enaruna

2 SF and 2 PF..

Is Wieskamp playing for the C's SL? He looked good in Maine.

Idk. Wieskamp, Peterson, Davison are up in the air I would think since they are free agents - the Celtics have no control over them.

Whereas Walsh is under contract with us..we just drafted Scheierman and Watson, we just signed Enaruna.

But as of now, with free agency opening up..JD, Wieskamp and Peterson are technically not tied to the celtics organization. All 3 are free agents fighting for their NBA life so I'm sure they will all play on someone's summer league team. Perhaps it'll be for ours, but it might be for someone else..

Davison is RFA according to spotrac. Makes sense as they still have his draft rights and have never signed him to an NBA deal. Apparently QO deadline is tomorrow.

Seemed like Brad may have been trying to spin 2-way deals to JD and Anton, at least, in his presser by stating that they expected to have some pretty good players on them?

Davison is really fast up and down the court, has decent court vision and a decent passer. However, he has WAY too many turnovers and would be a liability on defense. Even though he and Pritchard as the same height, Pritchard seems like a much better defender. I don't see a future for Davison in the NBA, but I hope I am wrong.

As a side note, does anyone have an update on Jay Scrubb? He seemed like a really good scorer last year before he got hurt.

Utah is going to have an exciting SL team. Cody, Isaiah and Flip plus all the young talent they drafted last year.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

I reviewed the CBA faq. After playing 2 years, his QO is a 1 year standard minimum contract. Last year, his QO was only a 2 way. But can this year's QO be a minimum salary with exhibit 10? I assume it cannot, it has to he a "standard" minimum - if it were exhibit 10, it could be converted to 2 way so there would be no real difference.

So - the RFA status is weird...scenarios are:
1. Give QO - he signs and competes for spot on main roster - if he doesn't make it, he gets cut and becomes UFA.
2. Don't offer QO - becomes UFA immediately.

So all the QO does delay the decision until training camp in exchange for a partial guarantee. I bet he doesn't get a QO but still comes back on exhibit 10 or 2 way. If only for the chance to attend the ring ceremony!!

Yeah I thought this same - while what I posted above is technically accurate I doubt they are going to give him a real NBA QO. So they prob make him a UFA tomorrow and bring him back after in all likelihood.

I said Abdel Nader but on closer inspection I think he looks like a poor man’s Tobias Harris…..who is kind of a poor man’s Tatum himself.

FINALLY!! Someone else sees Ben like I do!!! Moves like him a lot to me, just shorter (I think). He’s no passer like Ben but the way they dunk and move looks very similar to me!

I like that we are bringing in some lefties, may provide some different angles of attack when the offense gets too predictable and stagnates

Kalkbrenner is going back to college next season.

Dante signed with the Rockets.

Aimaq might not have NBA interest, since he is slow and 25.5 yrs old..
