I love the swings for the fences like Rob Williams and Michael Jordan Walsh, but I can respect that Brad stepped up to the plate, assessed the field, and tried to line a solid base hit. Was totally expecting them to trade down, but Brad said if a guy they wanted was there at 30 they’d take him, so I’m guessing they’re pretty high on Scheierman. And if so, great. He can have Svi’s spot right now, and if he grows into something more, great. If not, it was a good attempt to develop a rotation player with the limited resources available.

He's a specialist.

An excellent fit on this Celtics team.

Might have two specialties: moving the ball quickly (connective passing) and shooting. To me, looks more Svi than Hauser in terms of play style, with some interesting rebounding added in!

Yeah, he's a better scorer than Sam.

Dude's got the Tatum step-back, the Pritchard deep launch, and the Jaylen turnaround in the lane!

That part about Luka's girth was unnecessary. You should be ashamed of yourself.

With the exception of Zion, everyone in the NBA has "less girth" than Luka.

His introduction to basketball was Pistol Pete. He frequently watches the Pistol Pete documentary and has the DVD. Maravich also wore a double number, 44, most of his career and with the Celtics.

#55 was last worn by Joe Johnson on the Celtics.

His nickname at Creighton is Showtime Scheierman.
