A+ tweet. That lineup was +12 in 7.2 mins. Definitely saved starting lineup’s ass. They were -15 in 15.3 mins.

Also shoutout to JB-led double big lineup with KP and Horford who was +8 in under 3 mins.

Nice win.

VC goes to White. He was amazing in the 4th, with big basket after big basket and 14 huge 4th quarter points.
If it wasn't for White, we would have lost by 10 or more.

Al was great in the first half. Was the Al's first double double of the season? He was really good on the glass and on defense.

KP was terrible in the 1st half and picked it up in the 2nd half. I liked how when his shot wasn't falling, he starting attacking the rim. His lateral quickness is coming back. That fake pass and attacking the rim on that dunk, that's a play he doesn't make a month ago.

Brown was great in the 1st quarter and disappeared for the last 3 quarters.

Tatum had a bad game and did nothing in the 4th.

Pritchard was solid.

Luke and Hauser were ok.

One thing I didn't get was that Brown had it going in the 1st quarter and he only ended up with 12 points. Meanwhile KP and Tatum were cold and took 23 and 20 shots respectively. Making only 14 out of 43.

Solid coaching job by Joe.

If you could give White's basketball IQ to Jaylen you'd have one of the greats of his generation.

Not concerned about Tatum. He can be our 3rd or 4th best player like he was in the playoffs last season, and we can win a title.
What is concerning is the big drop off of Jrue's play this season. It's like he isn't the same player. Last season, he was a great 3 point shooter, his defense was really good and he was getting 6 or 7 rebounds a game.

Also Al's game has dropped off this season as well. This was his best game in weeks.

That's accurate.

It's not like Tatum was shooting great in the playoffs.

Jrue and Al have not been good this season.

The solution is to make a trade using Springer and a pick or picks.

3rd worst offensive rating, 3rd worst TS%, and 3rd worst 3FG% of the #1 offense Cavs this season. Only half of their made baskets were assisted, their worst mark of the season. Cavs also average 50.6 points in the paint and 14.9 fast break points. Limited to 38 and 5 respectively in this game. This game was won with our defense (and Cavs off shooting).

Celtics now 11-4 when taking less than half of their shots from 3.

20% of the Cavs' losses this season have been courtesy of the Celtics. We're 8-3 against them since last year.

Size was the difference in this game.

The Cavs had a hard time scoring in the paint because of KP.

And when the Cs went double big, the Cs ended up getting 2nd chances at the rim.

Teams are starting to go double big now.

Mavs with AD and OKC giving Hartenstein a lot of money to pair with Chet.

Celtics switch everthing on defense, so a double big lineup would lessen the chance of a guy like White or PP end up guarding the opposing Center.

I blame Joe Mazzulla for this result.

I still say we might as well lose some more games to improve our draft pick and get more road games in the playoffs. I’m just starting to be mildly almost possibly halfway serious about it.

Only 32 players (min 25 GP) have a net rating of over 9.5. Here's the breakdown:

• 9 Cavs players
• 9 OKC players
• 5 MEM players
• Jokic and Gordon
• Cam Payne
• Tatum and 5 of BOS bench players

100% on point. He will definitely be the worst coach in nba history to repeat if we're lucky enough for that to happen.

2 Championships in his first 2 full years as a coach would say otherwise lol

Tatum's shooting has been horrific lately. We need him to be better.

Strangely had a very efficient (for his standards) game against Philly.

Finished the replay.

Another game where the opposition basically gets to do whatever they want and we play with one hand behind our backs. Referees have been appalling this season.

ConstableGeneva wrote:Kenny Atkinson gets a puff for challenging that foul on JB in the 3rd. He had 5 of the Cs 12 turnovers on DIY kit moves after starting great in the game. Joe can't take full credit for sitting JB late in the game since he had foul trouble. Good job sitting Jrue who was so BLAH since tipoff.

Wish our bench gained more respect among fans. They play within their role, make quick decisions, and are often in the right spots on both ends. When a couple of starters are mixed in, our offense makes more sense.

JT alone with bench players --> 123.4 offensive rating and +9.9 net rating. It's been reliable in keeping/extending leads.
We are so much better without JB. This litany never gonna stop until the end of the world.
