His purpose was getting off Jrue's long term money lol.

On pace for 36-38 wins.

No mans land in a generational draft

Yeah i firmly believe if we're on a 36 win pace, Brad's pulling on the plug & we're tanking the last bunch of games.

I had us 4-6 after 10 games. Got us 8-12 after 20 games. I think that's the level of team we are. So towards the end we tank & end up low 30 wins.

We're not bad enough to be bottom level (Bkn, Wash), but we don't need to be. Even adding a top 6 or 7 pick in this draft would be awesome just as an asset to use. I'd love a top 3 but unless we get seriously lucky, i can't see it happening.

& major positives from this yr -- we know Minott is already a real dude & Hugo is going to be a real dude.

So our core of the big 3, PP, Sam, Minott, Hugo & I could see Queta being a backup on a contending team. Those are 8 dudes already locked in for next year.

I know that part, talking basketball wise.

He's not a fit, does too much of what PP does. I'm sure if Brad had the same opportunity to trade Jrue for a 30M big he would have done it, but that offer likely didn't exist. His role on the team is to maintain some value and hold the contract slot until Brad can turn him into something better suited to our core, likely by adding value to a deal.

Agree.

I checked and a deal like this works:

Simons to Utah

Rob Williams and Kyle Anderson to Boston

Niang to Portland

Draft picks would have to be involved.

Love Rob but I just don't think it is ever going to work out for him. It's been over two years since we traded the guy and he's played the equivalent of like 15 games out out of like 175. Think we can do better and I wouldn't add any value to get him

I hope he gets better and better in time!! Joe and Brown keep saying he’s going to get better when his confidence gets there, they think he has more to show. I can’t wait!! He’s finally getting minutes, PLEASE let this be just the start of something wonderful. STEAL for Brad!!
