To me, while it's not a big thing for some, Washington's performance this year does bother me. Fultz is hardly to blame, but it is slightly concerning just how uncompetitive they were.

Simmons went number 1 and Fultz is still projected to go number 1, so I'm not sure it really hurt either of them. Also, picking what school you go to isn't always strictly a basketball decision. If you're already on the radar as one of the top players in the country and already have an NBA ready game/skill set, I don't see how going to Duke or Kentucky will help you all that much.

It doesn't, but seeing him with good teammates would've at least made me happier!

I'm far more concerned with these kids playing for terrible coaches.

Yeah, as we saw with Jaylen last year, Cuonzo is not going to be doing Porter any favors.

If we get a top 3 pick I think we take Fultz, Ball, or Jackson. If we fall to 4 then I think we may trade the pic 50 percent, keep the pick and select Tatum/Isaac 25 percent, or trade down and add a pick 25 percent. I cannot say who Danny and co are gonna pick. Of course we must all wait till the lottery is over to know where we pick.

I do not think one should hold UCLAs loss against Ball. He had one game where he shot only 4/10, but still had 8 ast, 3 rbs, and 2 blks. He is not even the PG on his team.

At least Jackson cares.

So here's the thing... something I mentioned before... the 4th pick in the draft doesn't have huge trade value. So you're not going to get an all star level player with the 4th pick in the draft.. So you're better off drafting the best talent available. We found that out last year when we got the 3rd pick.

Yea it is annoying. But we have seen players carry bad teams before in college.. so I do thing Washingtons performance is a red flag against Fultz. Not a big enough flag to prevent him going number 1 of course.. because he's still the best in the class.. but it does say something about him. Same goes for Simmons last year.

Ya know, I hate jackson's. Hair. It is annoying to look at , not quite Elfeid Payton's dumb hair, but I don't
Like players with ridiculous cuts.

Kelly's hair annoys me. Why don't they get something classy like Crowder?

In all seriousness, it is annoying.

Kelly's hair is not nearly annoying as the pubic hair he has on his face. It makes my girlfriend want to puke.

Smart before his haircut looked worse to me. I think jackson would look like an underaged kid if he doesn't have that hair

Right, Jackson's definitely not an iso scorer like Fultz or Tatum. He has that capability in limited amounts and all the actions that we run for Jae right now I could easily see Jackson running with no problem. However, if he's a hard worker, who's to say he couldn't improve his handle to the point where he could do that more? But IMO he's more of a beta than an alpha. The ability to draw contact and make plays usually separates those types.

He has better handle than Tatum now.

Yeah I don't get the idea that Jackson can't get his own shot. Despite his shooting inconsistency, Jackson draws just as many fouls as Tatum and is a much more explosive player. Assuming his jumper translates or is at least respectable, his elite athleticism will allow him to get by his defender to the rim with relative ease.

Tatum has more "natural scorer" feel to him, but that's not to say Jackson won't be a big threat as a scorer himself.

Even if he's not, it's like asking if you'd rather have Jimmy Butler or Carmelo Anthony. Butler even today is not the pure scorer Melo is, but he's just so much better at defense and other parts of the game it kind of doesn't matter.

Yeah, I made another post modifying my comment when Homer correctly called me on the same thing. What I meant was more what you're saying.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

Kansas can't make a shot to save their lives. Pissing away their chance to get back in it. Oregon is leaving the door WIDE open.

The way Oregon's defense is playing, this 13 point deficit feels like 30

Edit: yes Kansas is making plenty of mistakes and missing some easy ones but give Oregon credit for great energy and shotblocking
