Did anyone watch any of the game? How did Yabs look? the stats suggest he is getting a bit more aggressive.

I didn't watch it, but check out that highlight link above, particularly the dunk at the end.

Can’t wait to see how Yabusele looks after a year or two of NBA conditioning.

I truly believe he may be an NBA starter in the future.

He just isn’t confident when he gets NBA minutes right now you can tell. Being a top team in the league is far from an ideal situation for a guy like him to learn quickly.

I can't believe he hasn't sprained an ankle let. I've never seen anything like him.

Yabusele highlights from yesterday, extended cut:

He's performing in the G-league like he was in China now. That's a good sign against the better competition. He should keep improving from here. Yabusele is still a really hard player to forecast.

Probably so. Celtics and Red Claws play at the same time tomorrow.
But, with up to 3 guys out, Celts are going to need Allen & Bird.

Efficient game from Yabusele yesterday: 31 minutes, 25 points, 8-14fg, 3-7 on 3s, 6-6 ft, 10 rebounds, 2 steals.

Indeed. I wish the Cs would let Yabusele play more in Maine. He needs to get on the floor. I would not mind seeing Ojeleye get to Maine on occasion, too, to work on his offensive game.

Kadeem Allen seems to be blossoming this year into a possible legit NBA roster player. For a defensive stopper type he has been developing his offensive game.

Here is a nice piece on Kadeem: https://www.pressherald.com/2018/01/25/kadeem-allen-is-clawing-his-way-to-the-nba/

Wasn't sure where this article might fit, but since Celtics' assistant coach, Scott Morrison, was the former head coach of the Red Claws, I thought perhaps here. In any case, I found the article interesting, and worth sharing.

Did anyone watch last night's Red Claws game? They had a 20+ point lead early on and ended up getting blown out....

Yabs played but seemed disinterested .....probably because of his demotion...and the rest of the team just mailed it in from the second quarter on....

It was easy to tell, watching the sad "oh-lay" defense being played that the team morale is at an all time low after losing their fifth game in a row in such a pathetic fashion.....Not once did Yabs try to step in and take a charge...not once...and some of his long and I mean looong threes reminded me of Antoine Walker on his worst night...

So many Black Ant players donked on him in that second half, that it was apparent that no one else wanted to help out....Time and time again, the Black Ant players drove the lane unimpeded ...just ignored....There just has to be something going on there...between the have and the have not's (contract wise)... some Black Ant guy who I've never heard of went for 40 points on the night.....It was like God...make this stop!

Meanwhile, while Yabusele was getting all the media coverage, Anthony Bennett went quietly about having another real good effort....But it was largely overlooked because of the beat down...

I don't know what to think? But that Red Claw coach better get things in order..Last night's total defensive lapse certainly raises some questions about the G-league being an effective tool in developing talent when you have such an obvious breakdown like what happened last night in Portland...
