Re: Buyouts
Beasley or Jimmer after their leagues are done, and that's about it. Or maybe Gortat. Those are really the only three options now.

Jimmer is not better than Wanamaker. This guy is done with the NBA.
I'm OK with Beasley, still able to play. Gortat too, weird that he is still available.
But let's face it, neither will change anything. Our short rotation in the playoffs will be :
Irving/Rozier
Smart/Brown
Tatum/Hayward
Morris/Theis
Horford/Baynes
I will take Theis over Bealsey and Baynes over Gortat.

I like the idea of Gortat or even Monroe if he is still out there, not because I want them to play over anyone but the fact that we are so bad right now without Baynes in the line up that they could give you some offense and size to offset the defensive presence you lose without Baynes if he goes down. Bottom line is that neither guy can guard but both can score and rebound.

I like that idea. They're both still out there. Gortat is 35, while Monroe is 28.
Neither of them can shoot a 3, but they can clog up the middle.
It would be Great if one of them takes a 1+1, knowing that they're likely heading to New Orleans next season.

PJ Brown was 38 in 2008
I'd love to have Gortat just as a Baynes insurance policy.

Also makes even more sense if we don't do it until the the last month of the season to limit the tax bill. I wonder if they have been in touch with Monroe who has experience in the system and may not have many exciting options going into next season.
