The way the Celtics defended the Warriors last season was trash. This Lakers team was able to shut them down whenever they felt like it.

Miami and Lakers to CF, this is some kind of private hell, especially when we have the most talent and the inability to use it

Season of the underdogs. I bet Philly is feeling ultra motivated to take this series now.

Seriously, if its heat, lakers, suns, 6ers im out for 4 months. They are the teams I least want to win it all. Would literally have no team left to root for. Harden, CP3, Bron, Butler - someone would get a ring

The Lakers are the best 4th quarter team in the league. Against their half court defense, you probably aren't getting better shots than the ones Curry and Klay hoisted up in crunch time

If we don't make it my only hope would be Denver lmao.

If you would have told me months ago that the heat and lakers would be in the conference finals, I would have thought you just started watching basketball yesterday.

imagine doing what lonnie walker just did and lebron not tell them to give the national interview to him. he shoulda walked to the lockers not giving them a chance to ask him. Celts do it all the time. If payton pritchard would have scored 15 (?) in the 4th to eek out a victory against the defending champs and Tatum or JB had the regular line like lbj had, Pritch would be talking. At the very least it would be best player and Pritchard!

I may be doing too much and forgetting something, but it just seems wrong it wasn't Lonnie's moment.

What do you expect? Lebron's an egomaniac.

The play-in Lakers are taking care of business better than us against the same defending champs we choked against in the Finals.

If we somehow find a way to make it back to the finals, I absolutely do not want to face the Lakers just to watch another Finals choke job ending with Tatum getting son'd (again) by papa LeBron. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

those were terrible shots, they got much better ones surrounding those shots. then they had two timeouts, curry tossed the ball out of bounds instead of immediately calling timeout.

Excuses excuses, giving grace to 4-time champs but not to people who never won a chip. :nonono:

It was only 3 months ago when the Lakers were the laughing stock of the league & their future looked bleak with AD’s injury issues & descending form, Lebron’s age, poor roster construction & a lack of valuable picks in the immediate future.
That was until Danny Ainge decided to do save them from years of incompetence & insignificance & put them in a position to have a real shot at winning the championship this year.

One things for certain, Ainge is going to be the most hated man in Boston if the Lakers end up winning it all this year.

Exactly! All because our guys don’t know how to close out games, and our so called superstar doesn’t show up every game.

Man the Celtics better get out of the east. The worst thing in the world would be Lebron winning another title and the lakers getting 18 before us. Celtics need to **** be at their best.

Lakers are probably going to win it all this year. Lets just start preparing mentally for it now.

4 time champs are allowed to lose after being 4 time champs. Teams that have won nothing have nothing to fall back on

I didn't say anything about them losing, I'm talking about mistakes. anybody can lose. apparently the jays and smart are the only ones who can't make mistakes.

Curry had a great look that he makes often. Klay's shot was at the end of the clock after a great defensive possession by the Lakers. Of course they get grace for winning titles. They're proven, we're not. And we're not facing the best 4th quarter team and the top Playoff defense either.
