Leaves pritchard on the out so a need for a 3rd pg (davidson or yam?)

A big hole behind white (tpmle? Pritchard trade)
Lets say trade pritchard to portland for keon johnson

Sign t. Davis

Tpe on a pg

Brogdon/banton/tpe
White/davis/johnson
Brown/hauser/walsh
Tatum/horford/brisset
Porzingas/timelord/kornet

Need a jump from white and hauser and 1 ofbdavis or johnson...but a pretty decent team.

Be in the top 5 or 6 of the league

I don’t think team plan is to be 5 or 6th, most likely top 3.

I am sure the plan is #1 with a championship.

Not sure if it is plausible with what Brad has left the team to work with.

How isn't it plausible? Role players can be replaced.

I have been pretty big on Terrence for a while.

I honestly believe he could be a legit starter in this league. Just needs some opportunity.

He hustles HARD
He is not eltie at anything, but he is good-great at everything.

Much like Derrick White.

Last season in games in which he played at least 15 minutes. (25 games)

12.6ppg
3.8rpg,
1.5apg,
0.8spg

42.5% from 3 on 6.4 attempts

Great hustle and defense as well.

Someone kindly ask JB if he's gonna be cool being a 4th banana in some of these scenarios. We're already dealing with an "unhappy player" in Dame.

White is off limits!
Trade Brog and Rob instead.

So you think Joe will continue to overrule Brad's preference for double-big lineups?

He did all last season.

I am sure he will again.

Yes because loading up on all three point shooting specialists worked beautifully.

Pretty sure all charges were dropped in that case.

Oh. Makes sense.

Still need a physical, defensive 3/4 to replace Grant/Smart. Unless they can ask JB to lean into that role (I remember Brad used to put him on guys like Siakam and Griffin).

Yeah that sums up Lillard for me as well. If they make the trade cool I'm sure he will be great, but he hasn't exactly been likeable through all this.

I think Brissett is that guy, at least to start with

2nd round picks are not useless by any means with the new CBA.

Boston has had 26 second round picks since 2000 and the only player that has made an impact is Big Baby. Maybe they are good for throw aways in trades (like we saw teams doing this year) or to have a warm body glued to the bench but chances are Boston isn't going to land an impact player in the second round.

Right, they'll be used for trades.
The two best Celtics second-rounders in the last 40 years were Danny and Dino,
way back in the 80s.

Is that a serious question? Of course you do that trade, all day.

A starting five of Dame Tatum Brown Porzingus Timelord. Dear god that team would be ridiculous.

Yeah it would be great if the NBA implemented 5 minute quarters. Having Dame and PP as the only two PGs on the roster doesn't seem like the best idea.
