It wasn't pretty, but we got the lead going into the half.

Good. They listened to me, haha. We did those things and now up by 5 at half.

Keep doing these things! Be tough, keep attacking. Defend the 3 pt line !
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

You can see the glimpses of this teams final form but it’s obviously a work in progress. Guys are thinking a bit too much instead of the game coming naturally. By game 20 or so I expect this team to look a lot different. And a lot better.

Porzingis is doing a good job impacting the offense even with his shot not falling tonight. He draws so much attention when he dives to the rim that it’s freeing up our shooters who finally made a few

Old man Jrue still got it. Total upgrade over the massively overrated Smart.

We haven’t played particularly well and are up by 5. If this was last year we would be down double digits.

Critical key to beating the Heat - stopping them from hitting those threes.

I see smart as the reason our guys complained so much. The heart and soul of the team complaining every time up or down the court and jacking up shots. That’s contagious. Especially when you see it from your “leader”

For the "at least we are up by 5" etc... look at Miami's current roster ... that is a JV team with some old heads mixed with Who-TF are they.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Just don't keep making turnovers.

JB now has 3 turnovers.

That's the only negative.

JT was awesome for most of the half.
#7 giveth & he taketh away as always.
Derrick solid on both ends.
Jrue outstanding on both ends.
KP quiet.

Started to really bring the D at end of Q2.

We are up 10-7 in O rebounds.

Herro & Bam carried them + a few lucky 3s.

Run away from these mofos in the second half.
We are a much better team.

Commentary is pathetic.

Definitely started out looking like last year.... All tho, last year's team made runs too. I need to see how they come out in the second half. Last year's team would almost without question get dominated in the 3rd and then try to play catch up in the 4th to this heat team.

The biggest difference from last season is the Cs now have a big who will punish smaller defenders inside the paint.

Last season if Duncan Robinson was on Rob, Rob will not post up and will just pass the ball back out.

That's not the case with KP because KP is eager to score if he's being guarded by a small player.

This would be more meaningful if Miami wasn't a team that is actually good and consistently goes deep into the playoffs. Like it or not, those nobodies have proven time and time again that they can get wins including when it matters most (except in the Finals)
