The key is don't get beat by size and athleticism.

Joe starting Sam and PP the first 2 games and not giving Mynot minutes really hurt the Cs on defense and rebounding.

This season the Cs have younger and athletic players.

Joe should use that to their advantage.

Using soft lineups will result in losses like the Detroit game.

I'm going to be interested to see what Joe does in the starting lineup vs the Cavs. Does he go with Boucher/Queta to try an match up with Allen/Mobley better or does he stick with Minott who really provided a spark vs the Pelicans?

Also, anybody else think Queta has been totally passable if not good? He's averaging 9 pnts, 8 rebs, 2 blocks. His main weakness has been fouls, he's averaging 4.25 per game in 24 minutes a game. His foul trouble hasn't helped the rebounding issues.

Looks like getting him some minutes last year might have paid off.

Back in 2023-24, I said Queta had starter potential.

He's a starter now.

Queta is great for us. The Fouls are a problem, that he needs to work on.
We do still need another quality big, though.

Starting Pritchard +Hauser is asking for disaster defensively- they're like a trailer park version of Lilliard and McCollum defensively-without as much fire-power.
We really should run the young guys, develop as many as we can. Miss playoffs, bink a top 5 pick, give White, Brown, Tatum a full off season. Reset in 26/27.
One day Marcus Smart will be defensive player of the year, mark my words.
