As for Jordan Walsh, why did he not play at all in the 2nd half? And why didn't anyone miss him?
Minott looks like a player who can do everything well except shoot. Same for Hugo, who did a creditable job of running the point in the second half. Walsh is a player who does almost nothing well and can't shoot either. Yeah yeah he's still young, but I haven't seen significant improvement since his rookie year. Davison, who was cut, improved twice as much as Walsh.
I saw somewhere that Walsh had an oblique strain so they rested him. So that answers the first question. The rest, yeah he needs to break out or he’s gonna get passed by. It’s in there still, I think, but at some point the possible ceiling may not be worth the investment to get there. If Brad can get a cheap backup rebounder to add to the mix, Jordan could be in trouble. Otherwise might as well keep him around.
