Did anyone watch last night's Red Claws game? They had a 20+ point lead early on and ended up getting blown out....

Yabs played but seemed disinterested .....probably because of his demotion...and the rest of the team just mailed it in from the second quarter on....

It was easy to tell, watching the sad "oh-lay" defense being played that the team morale is at an all time low after losing their fifth game in a row in such a pathetic fashion.....Not once did Yabs try to step in and take a charge...not once...and some of his long and I mean looong threes reminded me of Antoine Walker on his worst night...

So many Black Ant players donked on him in that second half, that it was apparent that no one else wanted to help out....Time and time again, the Black Ant players drove the lane unimpeded ...just ignored....There just has to be something going on there...between the have and the have not's (contract wise)... some Black Ant guy who I've never heard of went for 40 points on the night.....It was like God...make this stop!

Meanwhile, while Yabusele was getting all the media coverage, Anthony Bennett went quietly about having another real good effort....But it was largely overlooked because of the beat down...

I don't know what to think? But that Red Claw coach better get things in order..Last night's total defensive lapse certainly raises some questions about the G-league being an effective tool in developing talent when you have such an obvious breakdown like what happened last night in Portland...

Bennett and Yabba Dabba Doo both looked good in the first half. Bennett actually won player of the game. But the second half was a mess. Sloppy ball movement, bad defense and too many three point attempts. Bennett also looked gassed in the second half.

In my opinion Yabusele will never be an NBA player. If the Celtics can get anything for him then they should move him. When you are considered a power forward or a small ball center and you are soft and can't play defense then you have no place in this league. Being soft is a mental thing and not physical and players rarely if ever overcome that.

He was drafted to be a stash. Quite frankly Anthony Bennett is probably a better player. Not that it really means much but its true. Yabu and Nader really need to be somewhere else sooner than later. At least with Yabu they could probably get a 2nd on draft night or just use him as insurance incase Baynes and Monroe both go elsewhere.

It is officially time for Guerschon to adopt his "no more Mr. Nice Guy" persona. It is time for him to make his move to break from the pack and show the Cs he might someday be able to contribute to the team. He has until October 31, 2018 so the sooner the better.

Looks like Yabs has a big game today with 23 points and 16 rebounds.

K. Allen also had a big game with 28 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists. Allen is having a big year.

I live less than a mile from the Portland Expo. Never been to a game. I'm going to do so this week, I think.

Damn, what are you waiting for. It should be fun to see Yabs and Allen who seems to keep getting better and better on offense. He came in as a defensive player.

Have fun at the game. Let us know how they played if you can.
