Pretty sure I let everyone know, but the truth hurts.

Paying him 31 mil to come off the bench. That's the equivalent of what the last three 6th man of the year winners made in total.

WOW.

Not like Hayward is coming back from a very serious injury or anything.

And he already crossed both the minutes restrictions and back to back bridges, so this isn't an injury related move.

Oh so he’s meant to automatically just be good to go now?

Real question, not trolling:
Is Hayward currently as passive as Jeff Green used to be when he played for the Celtics?

Watching Hayward at the moment is like watching Rondo when he doesn’t want to shoot

I would prefer to put Gordon back as a starter. I thought it over the last hour and benching him just didn't feel right at all. This team is BETTER when Gordon is confident. The Raptors and Bucks wins this year, come on guys......Gordon was a factor in both.

We need Gordon to become a legit scoring option this year as potentially our #3 option behind Irving/Tatum.

He was way way too timid tonight and almost seemed scared to shoot. And losing to the Jazz again might have made him feel awful.

He needs to shake it off again since he was great vs. Toronto. He needs another solid home game soon.

Got to keep playing this guy and building up his confidence. Somewhere in there is the old Utah Gordon....we seen flashes in a few moments. And then we have seen him completely lose all confidence on the court and look sad.

It's still November, but we do need this guy IMO if this team is going to click on offense sometime since he is a veteran and will get more shots once he gets more comfortable and starts making them again.

He came off the bench but doubt he stays there. I'm sure Brad was trying to see if Hayward could get more use when playing off the bench but it didnt work out that way. He still had over 30 min played even though he did not start. Brad needs more structure to this offense because the flow is just sporadic and Hayward is both part of that problem and a victim of that problem.

Gordon looks like a shell of his former self. Man, I really hope this is just extreme rust. He stinks. He's shown a few flashes and has had a couple solid games, but at the max this guy needs to play with more confidence.

His free throw attempts are the lowest since his rookie year. Looks like he's afraid to be aggressive and doesn't want to get injured again.

Hayward will never be worth his contact. But FFS he missed an ENTIRE YEAR OF NBA LEVEL BASKETBALL.

What was the expectation here? That he'd come back as an all-star immediately? Really? Anyone and everyone bashing him wasn't realistic in their expectations to begin with. We are virtually at no risk of missing the playoffs. If it takes half the season, so be it. This team has already shown the ability to beat the best teams in the East.

I don't think aggression is the word for it. He's playing like he doesn't want to step on anyones toes. Looking off shots like a prime Kelly Olynyk, driving through the lane, saying "just browsing" and kicking it out to the perimeter.

regardless of where hes at physically or mentally, it is a fact that he needs to chuck more shots. I don't even care if they are bad shots. i seriously doubt this team will be elite when he does play better because the roster construction is an obvious poor mix of players in strange roles....but this team is pure mediocrity until he plays better.

Exactly. He's coming back from a devastating injury and coming back to a team that now has all these other options. He's clearly unsure of what his role is supposed to be on this team now and it's making him too passive when it comes to getting his own looks as a scorer. He's played good defense and been a solid playmaker early on, though.

He was not great vs. Toronto! He is like or less than half what he was in Utah. The man looks at least a year away from his last year in Utah..

Brad is screwing up playing him so much.. The whole team must see this and every one that is losing minutes to his rehabilitation should be pissed as their team loses again and again.
