Payton Pritchard is basically a vet PG IMO

I think he will surprise a lot of people with how good he is. He reminds me of a bigger, more talented JJ Barea, who has been in the league for a long, long time. I think he'll quickly become a fan favorite, too. Just watch this:

Actually would be smart to sign Korver to teach Nesmith as a big bonus.

Bring back IT and see if he can reverse the curse!

i guess he had something done, or some kind of rehab, but he's saying he's back to feeling right again.

But if i wanted 2m dollars I would say anything too.

I just don't think off the bench our defense can take the hit of him, and the fact Tatum plays with the bench and takes most of his shots during those times.

I can't believe Lebron let Danny sign Tristan!

Don't we need another guard? I mean, we'll probably be using Tatum and/or Jaylen at the 4 quite a lot, especially if we wanna manage Kemba's minutes throughout the season.

With Wanamaker and Hayward gone we're a bit short in numbers there.

Pretty obvious Celtics valued TT at 2 yr/19 over Turner at 3 yrs/54

I'd sign Giles to the 3.6m or sign and trade with the TPE for him. Then have green stay number 15. if hill is bought out before the playoffs, sign him.

With smart and kemba with main pg mins, for regular season pritchard and waters will be fine.

I can understand the important rationale to bring in another vet shooter, but I really like the idea of Giles here as a reclamation project. He's buds with JT and the dude is still only 22. With TT onboard now Danny can afford to bring in a young big.

Like the Giles idea as he could be a good upside signing but dont we need another wing scorer off the bench a little more?

Langford and Nesmith are wing scorers off the bench. Semi and green the OMG button guys.

our star players are 3-5 years from prime age, taking mins away from Langford/Nesmith with 42 year old Korver is... not wise.

If its for vet min it really doesnt hurt to have him be a player coach to some of our shooters. I am not sure we have the roster spot available for something like that this year unless they make a small 2 for 1 trade sometime before the season.

Just need a legit wing off the bench now, either through FA or through the trade exceptions

I dig this. Instead of Giles i'd prefer Hill. Playoff time Hill and Korver will deliver.
