Good luck with JKidd making them play defense. Irving-Doncic-Wood?? That’s just rough.

A little surprised there's not more discussion about the possibility of moving Brogdon. Many have pointed out how poorly lineups have done with him and Brown leading the second unit. We see his per game stats and that he occasionally appears to fill the void for that one extra playmaker we were missing last year, but the advanced stats paint a pretty clear picture that he hasn't been a great fit for really any lineup variation. My personal theory is that he's too much of a PG/needs the ball too much and those lineups need something different. General framework for two deals I would consider are: Brogdon to Jazz for Olynyk and Malik Beasley or Brogdon to Spurs for Richardson and Poetl (with Brogdon probably needing to head to a third team)

That’s it? Welp. Guess Nets are really trying to compete this season. Feel like they could have gotten more young assets if they just embraced a rebuild. Team will remain pretenders in perpetuity going this route

Good deal for us. Kyrie is out of the conference(but not Lakers), and Brooklyn didn’t get anything that should make us worry more about them.

Not the guy I’d attach my next 2 extremely important years for Luka to….I get there’s a Nike connection with the gm. A Kidd connection but I wouldn’t have done it

Good trade for the Nets.

I feel bad for Luka, he will be in the market in a few months; no one can stand the Kyrie experience

Also glad LeBron didn´t get help

Yep. Definitely no longer a contender in the east with Dinwiddie and Durant. They looked really good (minus when playing Boston) with Kyrie and Durant.

Kyrie is not going to fair well in Texas, and I’d be shocked if he doesn’t try to undermine Luka. Understand it from the Mav’s perspective but I can see this flopping quite easily.

Irving's market value is at an all-time low. He's on an expiring contract and the baggage/drama that he brings is just too much for most teams. I'd say the Nets did just fine. The Mavs? We'll see.

My immediate reaction… this the type of trade deadline return I might have been fine with if Danny was more than 50% sure Kyrie was leaving in the summer of 2019. Checked-out Kyrie never gave us a chance to advance in the playoffs.

Honestly, this just became a realistic scenario. There’s no way this is going to work in Dallas
