I don't think I'll ever be confident in Joe as a game manager.

Then you're not seeing what's actually happening on the court.
Joe went with Hugo early in the 4th and that gave the Cs a cushion.
When it was crunch time, Joe went back to Mynot for rebounding and defense.
It's not Joe's fault that the top 2 guys, JB and White, couldn't close it out.
Joe even trusted Tillman to guard Embiid in the last few minutes of the game.
You can't manage the game any better than that because we are missing one of the top closers in the league in Jayson Tatum.
