To say more about that...

There's just so much wrong with arguing _against_ competitiveness. As if the Celtics' competitiveness is a personal slight on the Raptors. In my experience it is always better to not compromise on technique, because so much is the building up of habits. That you don't want to play worse on purpose ever -- you'd be training yourself with a bad habit.

On top of it, if the Raptors really think the game is over and there's not need to compete -- then why the heck are they "padding their stats" by still shooting the basketball? Why aren't they just letting the clock wind down, and waving the white flag? (right no one does that...!)

Now especially with the coaches challenge being a new feature of the league, I want our coaching staff getting as many reps as possible with the new rule and seeing if they know best how to execute it! Yet another argument for not just going flaccid and playing as if the game is already over!

Frankly, I just don't believe grown men should be offended by other grown men who don't play strange etiquette games. Other people are always going to live life differently than you in some way, shape or fashion and none of that should ever make you visibly upset -- losing your peace over other people's non-violent/damaging behavior is just not impressive to me.
