I'm not blaming Hayward here. He was probably frustrated with Danny being stingy with Indiana. This is all on Danny.

Unbelievable indeed. We said it all along. Ainge has lost the magic touch. Something went wrong somewhere. The old Danny Ainge was bold, I had faith in him somewhat leading the Celtics to championships, a bright future, but I don’t anymore.

Are we even sure the Pacers had a competitive offer (to Gordon) on the table at this point? Doesn’t feel like it now.

I think it's beyond obvious that those weren't real offers.

Danny isn't a complete dummy.

What should we realistically do?

Well, first thing is obviously that ducking the tax is trivial. Not even in the picture anymore.

Obviously got the full MLE and should spend every penny of it.

Likely staring down true youth movement this season.

Improved Tacko and improved Robert Williams= Turner.

Nesmith is better than McDermott.

I’m not worried.

MJ has always been one of the worst GMs. He proves it again and again. HAyward and Rozier are reunited.

Are we sure of this? For all we know, Hayward was the one holding things up cause Indy didn't want to make nearly as big an offer as Charlotte just did. That's a lot of money. It's not just a "cool, that's a bit rich but let's see what we can do" deal. It's more like a "yeah we're not in the same ballpark type deal, good luck to you and yours" type deal.

Wouldn’t be surprised Horford ends up back here. There has to be more to this

Danny got greedy and Hayward walked.

I’m starting to believe that hayward had the Charlotte deal in his back pocket the whole time and was waiting for the pacers to up their money offer.

Maybe the deal was never as close as we thought

You people act like Indy was willing to bend over. Probably even Turner wasn't on the table.

**** Danny. You chose nothing over McDermott and Turner. Idiot. This is 100% on Ainge for being a hardass. YOU HAD THE DEAL RIGHT THERE.
